You are expected to stay current and knowledgeable about the medicine offered by Harvest and in the industry.</p><p><b><br />DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES*</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans</li><li>Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas</li><li>Maintains confidential information, documentation, and assigned records as required</li><li>Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity</li><li>Models, enforces, and provides direction and guidance to Dispensary Associates on proper Patient service approaches and techniques to ensure Patient needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within Company guidelines and standards.</li><li>Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions</li><li>Provides comprehensive patient care to customers</li><li>Provides medical marijuana pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing orders, counseling patients regarding health care and medical marijuana needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation, and properly processing all patient certification transactions and recommendations per regulations.</li><li>Maintains quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards and handling customer inquiries and complaints</li><li>Assist patients with choosing the right products according to their ailments</li><li>Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner; processes transactions</li><li>Verifies patient's allotment and ensures they are eligible to make purchasing using the state system</li><li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and goals</li><li>Participates in ongoing education and professional development as needed</li><li>Adheres to all Pennsylvania Department of Health/ Office of Medical Marijuana regulations</li><li>Maintains a positive attitude that promotes team work</li><li>Participates in ongoing education and professional development opportunities, including all state mandated training and professional license continuing education requirements</li><li>Works collectively and respectfully with other team members</li><li>Additional duties as assigned by management</li></ul><p><b><br />QUALIFICATIONS*</b></p><ul><li>Current license in the state of Pennsylvania</li><li>Experience in a retail or medical setting is required</li><li>Knowledge of medical cannabis and different cannabis products is strongly preferred</li><li>Cannabis Medical Professional Course 4-hour Training Completed strongly preferred</li><li>Superior customer service skills and phone etiquette</li><li>Must be able to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines</li><li>Cash register experience with speed and accuracy</li><li>Experience frequently interacting with customers, fulfilling customer requests and addressing customer issues, questions, or suggestions</li><li>Ability to handle a busy atmosphere</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines</li><li>Knowledge of office management systems and procedures</li><li>Proficiency using MS Office applications</li><li>Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization</li><li>Detail oriented with an eye on process optimization</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it</li><li>Excellent communication skills and leadership both verbally and through written media</li><li>Must be able to handle constructive criticism and guidance and offer the same to others in the department</li><li>Ability to articulate job goals in a manner they're completed effectively the first time</li><li>If necessary, ability to work 7 days per week and to be flexible with schedule</li><li>Through extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day</li><li>Must be capable of working in front of a computer for extended periods of time based on job duties listed above</li><li>Environmental Requirements and Exposure, depending on work location:</li><li>Exposure to fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables</li></ul><p><b><br />EDUCATION*</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree and advanced degree for medical field of study and Pharmacy or Nurse Practitioner license required.</li></ul><ul><li><br />The above requirements describe the general nature and level of work only.
