Job Description:

The ideal candidate for the role of Sales Manager is a motivated, creative, well-organized individual who has a strong understanding and background selling products in a highly regulated industry (preferably cannabis or alcohol beverage). Has experience with managing a targeted sales territory, opening new accounts, and growing/managing existing accounts. The territory is within San Francisco, CA area, with a focus on selling cannabis-infused beverages and infused pre-rolls.

Responsibilities:

· Manage pre-existing accounts and prospect new accounts by using online tools, internal data provided by sales leadership, existing contacts and your own creative methods

· Set up meetings with dispensary purchasing managers via cold-calling, email, and industry events.

· Coordinate sample product drop off to local retailers using our distribution partner.

· Distribute sales/marketing collateral to retailers.

· Follow up with potential and existing clients regularly.

· Track client progress through our internal sales reporting process.

· Meet monthly sales quotas and KPIs developed by the management team.

· Schedule and participate in on-site pop-up events/PADs at retail locations.

· Maintain expert-level knowledge of our product line as well as production process to inform potential clients.

· Maintain communication with clients on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis or as necessary

· Build out sales team / brand ambassadors, sales reps

· Work with marketing team and brand ambassadors to ensure promotions and marketing materials are properly allocated and activated in the trade.

Requirements:

· 3-5 years of experience in outside sales

· Ideally 1-2+ years of experience in the cannabis or alcohol beverage industry
