A Dispensary General Manager (GM) is the primary leadership individual at the store level skilled at leading a team and increasing revenue! This highly trained, efficient, and consequential team member is motivated by results, guided by data, and loves the grind of cannabis leadership! The DispensaryGeneral Manager reports to the Vice President of the organization and is responsible for the overall performance of the retail store, including but not limited to sales, inventory management, cash management, reporting, marketing, compliance, safety, merchandising, staffing, training, scheduling, and evaluations.

Duties:

Be able to work 5 days a week, up to 10 hours per day. Display strong leadership skills.Lead the dispensary team in accordance with the company’s mission, goals, and objectives. Increase revenue. Meet or exceed revenue and expense KPIs Execute projects and tasks thoroughly Work independently to create and manage adaptable workflows for the dispensary staff. Develop standard operating procedures and maintain high standards throughout team and organization Provide excellent customer service to all guests. Display excitement and openness while interacting with guests throughout the entire shift. Be adaptable and flexible to rapid change due to business needs and requirements Manage staff. Including performance, behavior, time clocks & time management, vacations & schedules, and supporting payroll processes. Work well interdepartmentally and across the enterprise with all co-workers, partners, vendors, etc. Work to ensure accounting & finance has the reporting and information they need to operate AP

& AR. Oversee, manage, and assume responsibility for supply chain management, including purchasing, pricing, margin, promotions, etc. Oversee, manage, and assume responsibility for sales performance of the store. Work closely with the marketing team, VP, & vendors to create strong performing promotions that drive sales & brand awareness.

Ensure customer satisfaction Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry-wide products and brands Responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory, ensuring an assortment of products, and communicating inventory issues to VP. Oversee, manage, and assume responsibility for all data in the softwares platforms utilized by the dispensary, namely Point of Sale, CRMs, loyalty software, e-commerce, websites, delivery, display menus, etc.

  • Appropriately delegate (if applicable) tasks assigned during scheduled shift, including:

Correct cash handling and discount application Verification of proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for patients Accurate use and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system Assistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracy Security measures, safety, and compliance Maintenance of an organized, well merchandised, and sanitary store Management of visitor log Maintenance of open communication with the management team and other coworkers.Identify, communicate, and resolve problems early Reporting of team member or customer service issues Work with staff to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly, and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations.Define roles and responsibilities of positions alongside VP Interview, hire, onboard, evaluate, train, terminate, etc all personnel. Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older Must pass all required background checks Must possess valid government issued Identification Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S. Must be compliant with all regulations for working in the cannabis industry Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years in a Retail supervisory role. Cannabis dispensary management experience preferred but not required. Inventory & Supply Chain control experience required Must be proactive, with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong communication and leadership skills Meet timelines consistently and be able to effectively work under pressure Great interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment. Be open to constructive feedback. Ability to use common business software including word, excel/sheets, point of sale, and email/gmail.

  • Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over, and/or crouching.
