The overall goal is to ensure smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.</p><p>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES *</p><p>• Be the right hand of the State Director</p><p>• Assist the State Director in managing operational goals.</p><p>• Assess and manage current SOPs and operational processes, identify opportunities for improvement and assist with solutions</p><p>• Build strong working relationships with operational leaders at all levels.</p><p>• Manage state reporting for accounting, financial budget's, and performance indicators</p><p>• Assist the State Director in any general requirements to run the state</p><p>• Manage employee licensing for the states/region</p><p>• Support the recruiting team and assist as necessary</p><p>• Assist the State Director across all business lines (Cultivation, Processing, Retail, Distribution) for the assigned states/regions.</p><p>• Manage regulatory compliance for all business lines in the territory</p><p>• Support front line employee's and subject matter experts with day-to-day decision making</p><p>• Gain and build relationships with all cultivators, processors, dispensary, and wholesale partners.</p><p>• Manage pricing analysis and new products in state/region for wholesale and retail.</p><p>• Assist with oversight of any construction projects within the state/region.</p><p>• Communicate with corporate marketing department; ensuring and managing implementation with state managers.</p><p>• Manage relationships with cash pickups/deliveries in partnership with accounting, treasury, and finance.</p><p>• Manage auditing in partnership with corporate licensing and compliance department.</p><p>• Visit state/regional facilities frequently and consistently Facilitate compliance spot checks on every visit (inventory, SOPs, cash, tags, etc.)</p><p>• Manage regular maintenance on all equipment and utilities is being performed in partnership with relevant departments and managers.</p><p>• Manage and ensure state compliance training manuals and required trainings are up to date in partnership with learning and development, compliance, and management teams.</p><p>• Manage and ensure all department heads are training staff accordingly and collecting/filing required proficiency assessments and training acknowledgements.</p><p>• Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.</p><p>• Participate in the evaluation and changes to processes and procedures upon regulatory updates and or State deficiencies.</p><p>• Manage and assist site leaders to administer all processes and procedures and ensure working within the regulatory framework.</p><p>• Assist the State Director by answering phone calls and emails, providing appropriate specialized guidance and information.</p><p>• Assist the legal team as necessary.</p><p>• Additional duties as assigned by management.</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS *</p><p>• Prior business operations experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Agriculture or similar industry or role.</p><p>• Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.</p><p>• Detail oriented with an eye on process optimization.</p><p>• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.</p><p>• Must be able to obtain all licensure required per assigned state/region guidelines to sell, distribute, manufacture cannabis</p><p>• Must be able to handle constructive criticism and guidance and offer the same to others in the department.</p><p>• Proficient computer skills including typing speed of 50 WPM, strong command of Microsoft Office Suite products, and more.</p><p>• Knowledge of applicable cannabis laws, rules, and regulations preferred.</p><p>• Detail oriented with a knack for creative problem solving.</p><p>• Excellent time management and organization skills required.</p><p>• Excellent communication skills both verbally and through written media.</p><p>EDUCATION *</p><p>• Bachelor's degree</p><p>• The above requirements describe the general nature and level of work only.
