We are looking for an Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion.

Handling the day to day operations will be the primary function of the position and there will be opportunity to learn skills in other areas such as marketing, collections, billing, client relations, sales, etc.

Experience in this position is not required but will be a plus. Communication and people skills are imperative as we deal with clients daily and expect a high standard of professionalism.

Our Company
We are a specialized waste company called EcoWaste that services the cannabis industry. Our drivers visit clients daily to collect the waste and we provided documentation verifying their waste has been collected within compliance.

The Daily

  • Answering and fielding phone calls
  • Email correspondence with clients
  • Invoice collection calls and communication
  • Problem solving for client requests and tickets
  • Creating social media content with pre-designed templates
  • Curating social media content from sources
  • Engaging on social media accounts
  • Newsletter management
  • Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures
  • Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
  • Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
  • Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
  • Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
  • Perform receptionist duties when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
