We are currently seeking a talented Social Media Manager to build and maintain a strong online presence for our company. The Social Media Manager is a highly motivated, organized, and self-sufficient individual with a passion for all things social media. This role will serve as the go-to person for all influencer relations, brand partnerships, and more. Additionally, this person will oversee and implement reporting systems to measure KPIs, metrics as well as schedule social media feeds on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Manage the content calendar for social, actively sourcing new content internally through collaboration with our department directors and externally with influencer/partner brands
  • Define our social strategy and execute it across all different social media channels.
  • Proactively reach out to key influencers for placements in-line with new launches, messaging, social-specific activations, and more.
  • Work with the creative department on designing and replenishing marketing as well as potential gifting materials for partnerships.
  • Plan & schedule social media posts to include brand partnerships and influencer related content to curate an aesthetically pleasing, engaging feed.
  • Act as digital community manager – engaging and activating our social following.

Requirements:

  • 2 – 4 years of Digital Media experience (ie PR, Marketing and/or Social Media-specific experience) – Experience within the Cannabis industry is a plus
  • Experience working with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest
  • Proven track record of effectively managing budgets.

The JAM assists store management in creating an environment that ensures the highest standards of patient/customer care, compliance, and maximum productivity and efficiency by enforcing company policies and procedures.</p><p><b>Duties and Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Maintain a positive environment and premium experience for all patients/customers and staff.</li><li>Open and close store.</li><li>Ensure 100% compliance with city and state codes and regulations.</li><li>Model communication of our brand, company mission and values, and industry best practices.</li><li>Ensure an appropriate selection of sellable products are available at all times.</li><li>METRC responsibilities, including tag merging/shredding when inactive, accepting manifested transfers, and manifesting product when necessary.</li><li>Add new products and inventory to Flowhub, conduct inventory audits, transfer products, and access all menus, including GC website, to update as necessary.</li><li>Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.</li><li>Maintain operations by enforcing personnel policies and store procedures.</li><li>Complete designated responsibilities in a timely manner.</li><li>Interact with 3rd party vendors to ensure all manifests and invoices are signed and filed appropriately.</li><li>Demonstrate leadership and compassionate management.</li><li>Support staff performance through coaching employees, appraising job results and giving appropriate feedback when necessary.</li><li>Recommend discipline and provide recognition when warranted.</li><li>Ensure excellence in training for new hires and ongoing training for staff.</li><li>Ensure the collection of patient/customer feedback for the purpose of providing the best customer experience.</li><li>Void tickets, replace defective products, and complete payouts as directed by management.</li><li>Help maintain accurate and tidy product displays.</li><li>Provide product quality inspections.</li><li>Assist Inventory Manager with harvest drops and complete drop independently if necessary.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><b>Job Requirements (Education and Experience)</b></p><ul><li>Some secondary education preferred.</li><li>Previous experience budtending or extensive training in dispensary operations.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)</b></p><ul><li>Ability to work well in a team.</li><li>Experience with POS systems, METRC inventory tracking system experience is a huge plus.</li><li>Knowledge of basic compliance laws associated with the sale of marijuana.</li><li>Extensive product knowledge and general enthusiasm for cannabis.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication.</li><li>Background in high volume retail sales.</li><li>Success working both independently and in groups.</li><li>Enthusiasm to learn and ability to catch onto lengthy procedures quickly.</li><li>Ability to count and organize large amounts of inventory.</li><li>Knowledge of Good Chemistry's message, strains, and in-house products.</li><li>Demonstration of basic computer proficiencies related to POS operation, Microsoft Suite, and Apple OS.</li><li>Positive attitude and willingness to complete any task necessary to maintain store operations.</li></ul><p>This job description is intended to explain the general nature and level of work being performed.
