The Role The Asset Protection Specialist is the gatekeeper for our retail stores. We are looking for someone levelheaded and confident who is just as passionate as we are, about keeping all our patients, customers, and workers safe. In this role, you will be responsible for the security of all our assets and property in the dispensary as well as the regulation of access to our premises. Responsibilities• Protect individuals, property, and proprietary information from harm or misappropriation

• Protect property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, trespassing, fire, and accidents

• Observe and report any unlawful activity

• Control access to premises

• Investigate and take the appropriate lawful actions on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activity, safety, and fire

• Neutralize situations calmly with tact and common sense

• Watch for safety and fire hazards and other related situations

• Enforce policies and procedures of the company

• Aid customers, employees, visitors, or the public as necessary

• Perform requests by the customers within scope of security duties or within reason

• Train new security hires, and inform other staff of security procedures and policies

Qualifications• Military, law-enforcement, or security background strongly preferred

• Criminal Justice Degree, or relevant experience

• Training in firefighting, first aid or lifesaving drills

Additional Requirements• Must be 21 years or older

• Must pass all required background checks including state specific cannabis employment requirements

• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.

• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.

• Requires open availability and ability to work full-time

Working Conditions• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions

• Ability to work in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when the business requires such as performing retail operations outside via curbside service, removing trash or other outdoor tasks.

Physical Demands• Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)

• Role includes standing or walking for prolonged periods of time, as well as stooping, sitting, bending over and/or crouching; ascending and descending ladder

As Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible to optimize and build our data pipelines and data architecture within our integrated systems to power, advanced analysis, analytical reports, and dashboards for our internal clients. You will be a key contributor who enables Aurora to make data driven decisions.</p><p>Join an enthusiastic team that always enjoys learning, working collaboratively, and solving complex business problems with data.</p><p><b>MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><p>• Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts and Developers to ensure business needs are addressed.</p><p>• Maintain cloud base enterprise data warehouse and data marts.</p><p>• Automate reporting solutions and operationalize machine learning models.</p><p>• Implement optimised pipelines to extract and merge data sets from multiple sources.</p><p>• Perform data cleansing and transformation using advanced Azure tools.</p><p>• Work with the team to deploy new cloud-based reporting and analytics tools.</p><p>• Work side-by-side with the business SME’s, iterate the development in an agile fashion to build and test solutions with incremental changes.</p><p>• Set up automated deployment processes.</p><p>• Implement data process improvements such as optimizing data delivery and scalability.</p><p>• Execute multiple tasks simultaneously while exhibiting professionalism to ensure an incredible stakeholder experience.</p><p><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b></p><p>• Very strong experience in database systems including data warehouses and multi-dimensional analytic solutions.</p><p>• Deep understanding of cloud technologies and infrastructure for data retention and processing such as Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Functions, Data Factory and Databricks.</p><p>• Proficiency in scripting and programming using R and/or Python, C#.</p><p>• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data ingestion. Demonstrated via hands-on project experience.</p><p>• Outstanding skills in Microsoft full BI Stack in Azure environment. Excellent SQL development skills to write complex queries involving multiple tables and develop stored procedures, triggers, user defined functions.</p><p>• Proficiency in Extracting, Transforming and Loading (ETL) data between data systems/ data warehouses. Experience in ETL change data capture methodologies and techniques, ETL data quality validation for mission critical data migrations.</p><p>• Experience in managing and deploying code to cloud services, including Azure DevOps experience.</p><p>• Working knowledge of Linux, Visual Studio.</p><p>• Hand on experience with deployment and monitoring of machine learning models.</p><p>• Hand on experience with Microsoft Power Suite – Power Apps and Power BI.</p><p>• Knowledge in statistics and data mining.</p><p>• Strong Agile project execution experience with proven ability to prioritize and manage time.</p><p>• Display teamwork and integrity with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders, and directly influence them in a positive and effective manner.</p><p>• Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment and be comfortable in a dynamic, high growth environment.</p><p>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines.</p><p>As a condition of employment, all candidates must provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or receive an approved medical or human rights accommodation prior to commencing employment with Aurora.
