Our client, a cannabis facility in Ottawa, ON with a focus on craft cannabis and technological innovation, is seeking a Master Grower to join their team.

Responsibilities :

- Set the highest quality standard in every aspect of genetics, production, and processing

- Build the team : hire and train a facility manager, operations manager, and additional employees as needed

- Establish and execute the genetics and production plans

- Review and document systems, processes, and SOPs

- Reach genetics metrics by sourcing genetics and Pheno Hunting, involving a regular introduction of high performing genetics and developing genetics for the vertical growing system

- Lead the cultivation team with the various cultivation tasks, including cloning, transplanting, defoliating, and harvesting, preparing recipes for cultivation and ensuring plants’ health

- Reach production metrics

- Establish and execute a processing plan, including harvesting, drying, curing, and hand-trimming.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 2 years of cannabis cultivation experience growing quads in the legal market

- Experience in collecting and using data to optimize each phase of growth

- Health Canada Security Clearance
