Sign-on Bonus each for the first two LMTs we hire. If you have had trouble getting your Missouri license know that Leawood DOES NOT require National Certification or Mblex to get your license. You need is 500 hours from an accredited massage therapy school.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of various modalities preferred such as swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, etc. We teach you cupping, CBD massage, and our add on services that get you CEUs for you.
  • Customer service and team oriented
  • Current CPR/First Aid
  • Reliable transportation
  • Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork
  • Adhere to local licensing laws and regulations.
  • A Leawood Massage Therapist license or eligible to secure license.

Coordination of the Medication Clinic involves daily management of a 20-hour psychiatry schedule and tracking of medications to ensure continuity of care. This position works closely with the jail medical contractor and outside pharmacy providers to coordinate care and ensure that medication orders remain uninterrupted.</div><div></div><div><br />The position also involves providing direct care including risk assessment/crisis intervention; intake assessments; individual and group therapy; and case management services to incarcerated clients with a range of psychiatric and substance use disorders. The clinical work will mainly be focused within the Men’s Sober Living Unit when pandemic conditions allow for the re-opening of the program but will initially be focused in other areas of the jail.
