Job Summary:
We're seeking a Director of Growth Marketing to drive our brand, acquisition, and retention strategies across B2B businesses. As an early hire and leader on the growing Shiftlab team, you'll have the opportunity to define the role of Growth at Shiftlab, directly building and leading the team. You will own the development of our brand strategy, lead generation, and new growth plans and execute on these plans, measuring impact and contributing to Shiftlab's profitability over time. As a fast-growing company, we're looking for someone who's excited to take on the unknown, takes calculated risks, and challenges our team to find new ways of approaching problems. The right person is a stellar collaborator who will work cross-functionally with product, sales, and our sister-companies

iQmetrix and Cova. This role reports directly to the CEO and provides an opportunity to make a material impact on the business outcome for Shiftlab.

Responsibilities:
Evolve the brand strategy for Shiftlab

Oversee marketing acquisition, deepening, and retention efforts to develop full-funnel growth strategies

Lead development and execution of plan to drive key metrics, setting benchmarks to improving lead generation, CAC, and customer LTV

Develop Account Based Marketing (ABM) strategies for go-to-market in the wireless and cannabis retail industry

Eventually build out full go-to-market strategies for cannabis industry acquiring dispensary retailers

Define and build the Marketing team at Shiftlab, leading and motivating a team of talented direct reports

Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant marketing experience and a Bachelor's degree (bonus points for experience with a technology or SaaS company and advanced degree

Experience building out a brand strategy (bonus points for startup experience)

Experience building out and leading teams, including experience managing direct reports

Deep expertise with marketing measurement, analytics, and marketing tech stack

Proven track record of driving high-performing, ROI-positive growth campaigns

A true owner who enthusiastically rolls up their sleeves and dives directly into work, seamlessly transitioning from strategic leader to scrappy doer as needed

An entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to embrace change and navigate ambiguity in our fast-paced, rapidly growing company (and rapidly evolving industries)

Experience in retail and WFM technology a plus

The primary responsibilities will be to manage and optimize all the tasks in the grow including cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, topping, flushing, foliar, trimming, packaging, waste disposal, facility sanitation, and crew management. This candidate will be expected to oversee all operations and employees, ensuring that our company is in full compliance with all state and local regulations, production deadlines are met, and all procedural problems are addressed and resolved.</p><p><b>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><p>· Manage all operations of the indoor cultivation facility</p><p>· Manage all the tasks in the grow including cloning, transplanting, watering, feeding plants, defoliation, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays, harvesting, waste disposal, facility sanitation, inventory management and managing greenhouse staff.</p><p>· Responsible for training cultivation team</p><p>· Chart progress, recognize successes, and identify areas for improvement. Make sure all team members are well informed and prepared for the tasks ahead.</p><p>· Work closely with staff to develop growing and greenhouse utilization plans to maximize growing efficiency for products.</p><p>· Oversee all operational functions of the grow-op and harvesting.</p><p>· Manage plant scheduling to accurately project all facility requirements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to maximize high-quality yield with efficiency and attention to production costs</p><p>· Catalog and track each individual strain from clone to harvest</p><p>· Perform all cultivation tracking and recordkeeping functions required, METRC</p><p>· Cloning and manage vegetation with at least a 90% success rate.</p><p>· Maintain indoor cultivation protocols and a nutrient regimen per SOPs</p><p>· Execute preventative maintenance and elimination of all types of molds, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, etc.</p><p>· Identify crop problems and determine a solution</p><p>· Ensure regular cleaning of maintenance of equipment and facility to keep all areas of the operation in excellent condition.</p><p>· Assist with ideas to reduce costs wherever possible</p><p>· Follow SOPs and identify opportunities for improvement and implementation of solutions</p><p>· Follow all government mandated state, federal, &amp; local compliance and safety procedures. Create and implement security guidelines.</p><p>· Manage and report on key operational processes, financial budget, and performance indicators</p><p>· Work closely with the Business Owner to set operational goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed to improve operational performance</p><p>· Work collectively and respectfully with other team members and in accordance with all company HR policies</p><p>· Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.</p><p><b>EXPERIENCE:</b></p><p>· 10+ years of experience running the operations of a large-scale legally licensed cannabis cultivation operation as a head grower/master grower/director of production/etc.</p><p>· Comprehensive knowledge of cultivation facility management</p><p>· Experience directing and monitoring the performance of employees</p><p>· At least 2 + years of experience in phenohunting, breeding, genetics.</p><p>· Mastery of all grow mediums and irrigation methods including hand-water, sub-irrigation, and drip systems</p><p>· Has fed with Athena in the past and understands the nutrients.</p><p>· Competency in use of climate computer controls and automated irrigation systems</p><p>· Knowledge of commercial plant cultivation including crop rotation management, nutrient requirements, mediums, light requirements, and environmental control</p><p>· Knowledge of plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies and toxicity</p><p>· Competence in building plant schedules</p><p>· Adept at industry best-practices and current on new techniques</p><p>· Researched in new techniques and insight to expand knowledge in nutrient of individual strains, high yield recipes, controlled stress environments to different lighting systems and set ups.</p><p>· Advanced knowledge of the cannabis plant and genetics.</p><p>· Knowledge of uses and benefits of cannabinoids</p><p>· Comprehensive knowledge of Strains; Sativa, Indica and Hybrids.</p><p>Education/Certification</p><p>Related Horticultural Degree – Preferred</p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year</p><p><b>Schedule:</b></p><p>• 8 hour shift</p><p>• Monday to Friday</p><p>• Night shift</p><p>• Weekend availability</p><p><b>Experience:</b></p><p>• cannabis cultivation: 10 years (Required)</p><p>• pheno hunting: 2 years (Required)</p><p><b>Work Location:</b></p><p>• One location</p><p><b>Work Remotely:</b></p><p>• No</p><p>Work Location: One location</p><p>Click Here To Apply</p></div>","company":{"name":"HempStaff4.3★"},"location":{"country":"United States","address":"Oklahoma City, OK, USA","city":"Oklahoma City","stateProvince":"OK"},"frontendLink":"/job-posting/hempstaff43/head-of-cannabis-cultivation-10-years-experience/a8c97175c4ac42d8a7f51ee286b49ec7","title":"Head of Cannabis Cultivation – 10 years experience","category":"Agriculture & Farming","hash":"a8c97175c4ac42d8a7f51ee286b49ec7","postingUrl":"https://us.jobsbrisbaneaustralia.com/oklahoma/job/head-of-cannabis-cultivation-10-years-experience/"}]
