The Brand Ambassador is enthusiastic and devoted to the company’s brands. They support the marketing and sales initiatives to ensure that all brands are preferred. They are the face of the company and help facilitate a seamless marketing and sales experience.

Required:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or GED, Bachelor’s preferred
  • Possess a valid California Driver’s License, with a clean driving record
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a conversation and answer unexpected questions with ease

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

The Crop Production Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Crop Production Manager with: coordinating planting, feeding, spraying, harvesting, and cultivating cannabis and hemp. The incumbent will be held accountable for plant health, soil health, and overall cleanliness and appearance of all CCA associated properties. This position might require exposure to and use of chemical compounds for application on crops which may be hazardous and cause injury if specific instructions regarding their mixture, application, use, and disposal/storage are not properly followed.</p><p>The working environment will include office, warehouse, shop, and greenhouse/hoop house environments. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required for this position.</p>Responsibilities:<p><b>What You'll Do:</b></p><ul><li>Participate in the planning, preparation, and execution of CCA activities with the VP of cultivation and Cultivation Manager to assess and complete projects related to all Central Coast Agricultural farming.</li><li>Inspect the plants regularly and identify horticultural tasks that need to be performed. Prioritize horticultural tasks, develop work schedules, and coordinate their implementation with senior staff.</li><li>Track soil and plant health through tissue and soil tests, working closely with vendors and their agronomists on long term soil viability plans.</li><li>Assist the Crop Production Manager in monitoring soil moisture probes and field walks to determine water needs for the cannabis plants.</li><li>Be ready to assist in the irrigation and fertigation of the cannabis plants when asked to do so by senior staff.</li><li>Must be able to keep accurate records of total amounts of water and nutrients applied to a specific range and record that information in a Nitrogen use Log.</li><li>Train and supervise staff in all aspects of plant maintenance and development including soil preparation, planting &amp; transplanting, mulching, watering, weeding, fertilizing, pruning, propagating, raking, tree &amp; brush cutting, chipping, and the proper use of shovels, trowels, fan rakes, grading rakes, spades, digging forks, pickaxes, brooms, hand shears, hand saws, loppers, pole pruners &amp; pole saws, wheelbarrows, fertilizer spreaders, garden carts, ladders, and other hand tools.</li><li>Track hours of CCA staff as well as any temporary staff assigned to cultivation and work directly with payroll and HR departments regarding staffing needs and payroll tracking.</li><li>Train and supervise staff in the proficient operation of push mowers, riding mowers, string trimmers, backpack sprayers, garden utility vehicles, tractors, pickup/dump trucks, chainsaws, chippers, and other power equipment in accordance with CCA safety protocols and regulatory standards.</li><li>Assist in a 20+ acre substrate grow operation for dried flower production. Assist in the plan and budget for the initial build-out and staffing requirements with the Vice President of Agriculture, Crop Production Manager, Cultivation Director, and Packing House Manager. Manage fertigation and filtration control systems. Develop and update SOPs that align with the county, state, and federal regulations in regards to the cultivation of cannabis and workers’ safety.</li><li>Provide hands-on assistance with the completion of work tasks, when needed.</li><li>Evaluate cultivation needs and supplies inventory. Work with the purchasing department on inventory replenishment of BOM needs.</li><li>Monitor gardens and plant collections for pests and diseases. Report pest and disease problems to the IPM coordinator.</li><li>Create a harmonious and productive work environment. Addresses discipline issues and report them properly to senior staff and HR. Within the Manufacturing Department, a Lab Technician is an entry level position but is one of our most important pieces to our operation. Each inventory unit is packaged and inspected by the Packager before it reaches the shelf.
