Job Summary:

The Controller, the trusted financial advisor to the business, will be responsible for leading the site accounting personnel, managing the site month end close process, presenting site financial statements with variance analysis, compiling annual department budgets, submitting monthly forecasts, maintaining ERP item master data including the manufacturing standard costs, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies.

Duties:

· Supervises Payroll/Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable personnel

· Compile, organize and consolidate annual site budget and monthly forecasts

· Perform the monthly close process and prepare required financial reports and variance analysis

· Reconcile bank statement and other general ledger accounts as part of the monthly close process

· Maintain ERP item master and standard cost data; analyze actual vs standard variances

· Active participant in the site leadership; provide department/product cost support and variance analysis

· Provide financial recommendations on business opportunities and risks; supported by financial data analysis

· Support all internal and external audits; ensure site compliance to US GAAP and company policies

Skills/Qualifications:

· Education Required/Preferred: Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA preferred

· Experience: 7-10 years with strong background in cost accounting. Managerial experience preferred.

· Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

o High skill level in Cost Accounting, Budgeting, and Forecasting

o Thorough working knowledge of US GAAP, general and cost accounting principles.

o Excellent skills using Microsoft Office applications

o Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

o Able to effectively work across functions to drive site results

o Ability to interact positively with employees at all levels of the organization regarding finance

o Experience with enterprise systems (MRP or APS), Infor Syteline or CSI experience is a plus

o Must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
