For more information, please visit www.mjardin.com .</p><p>Position Summary</p><p>As the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager of MJardin Group license holder, you will be responsible for assuring the quality of cannabis before it is made available for sale, investigating complaints received about the quality of the cannabis, and taking corrective action.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><p>Ensure the overall and ongoing compliance to the Cannabis Act and its Regulations.</p><p>Responsible for the approval of all methods and procedures related to Good Production Practices (GPP), to ensure the quality of cannabis before it is made available for sale.</p><p>Review and approve all Product Batch Records, before cannabis is released and made available for sale.</p><p>Participate in Health Canada audits and inspections, prepare responses to observations and perform all necessary corrective actions.</p><p>Write, review and maintain all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and build electronic quality forms, into a new cannabis inventory and quality management system (Elevated Signals).</p><p>Ensure all processes are captured in the cannabis quality management system including, plant and inventory tracking, environmental, sanitation, equipment, supplies, testing, and all internal quality checks.</p><p>Build and generate customizable quality reports and prepare monthly Health Canada CTS Canada Revenue Agency Reports.</p><p>Ensure staff are trained on SOPs and GPP and coordinate ongoing training to ensure compliance or re-training where needed.</p><p>Track adherence to quality SOPs, closely monitor Acceptable Quality Levels (AQLs), variances, thresholds, and trends, as alerts that require QA verification.</p><p>Oversee pest control program and ensure pest control procedures are authorized under the Pest Control Products Act or the Cannabis Act.</p><p>Ensure cannabis is stored and distributed under conditions that maintain its quality.</p><p>Oversee the sanitation of premises and equipment cleanliness, hygienic behaviour of personnel, and maintenance.</p><p>Review product quality and customer complaints and lead investigations including corrective action and preventive action.</p><p>Ensure full analytical testing is conducted on each lot or batch of cannabis before it is released for sale.</p><p>Ensure testing is conducted using approved validated methods, investigate deviations and out of spec results.</p><p>Review Product Batch Record & Certificate of Analysis (CoA), approve product master label artwork, variable data inputs and final product labels.</p><p>Ensure all aspects of final product packaging, labelling, excise stamps, master cases, pallets, CoA submission, shipping and tracking requirements for product distribution is accurate and verified by QA.</p><p>Perform internal audits and vendor qualification audits on a regular basis to determine quality qualifications.
