Choice Labs, LLC is a rapidly expanding Michigan Center based medical and recreational cannabis processor. We are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks throughout our growing facility.

Job Responsibilities:

- Complete regular maintenance tasks by performing minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, damage to walls, etc
- Maintain all equipment
- Perform quality checks on HVAC, AC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Testing and recommending new maintenance products
- Install necessary appliances and equipment as needed
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager during renovations and facility expansions
- Report to the Maintenance Manager regarding issues resolved, needing attention and currently in progress
- All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Must be 21 or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proven experience as a maintenance worker or similar position
- Construction skills such as painting, carpentry, plumbing and welding
- Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills

In this role, you will work with various instruments and equipment in a team based environment.</p><p>• Set-up and operate various instruments and equipment according to SOP’s</p><p>• Undertake basic kitchen duties, such as measuring ingredients</p><p>• Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies</p><p>• Assist in ensuring formulation line is completely stocked</p><p>• Meet set production deadlines by working efficiently with a sense of urgency</p><p>• Document production by completing forms, reports, equipment logs, sanitation checklists and batch records</p><p>• Trouble shoot problems with equipment, devices and products</p><p>• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste per SOP and local requirements</p><p>• Assist management in processing and testing of products, processes and procedures</p><p>• Perform quality inspections of product</p><p>• Maintain inventory of raw materials</p><p>• Work as part of a team to meet production schedules</p><p>Required Skills</p><p>• Must possess valid driver’s license</p><p>• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age</p><p>• Basic math skills</p><p>• Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment</p><p>• Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information</p><p>Desired Skills</p><p>• Experience in production, lab, or food safety environment</p><p>• Experience in regulated cannabis kitchen or production environment</p><p>About Careers In Cannabis</p><p>Welcome to the Careers in Cannabis network.</p><p>By creating your Careers in Cannabis X Profile™, you take the first step towards finding your next job opportunity – and career step – in the fast-growing cannabis industry.</p><p>Built from the ground up for the industry, the Careers in Cannabis platform is designed to make the process of finding your next gig intuitive.
