About The Opportunity:
NEKKTAR is adding a Sales Director to our small but mighty team! We are looking for an emerging leader with the drive and savviness to scale a luxury brand that sets the tone for cannabis accessories and does well by the world around it. Your ability to grasp new skills and adapt to adversity in the evolving cannabis and wellness industries propels you to flourish in an entrepreneurial environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the sales lifecycle including vendor relationship development & management, pricing & cost analysis, sales forecasting, contract evaluation & negotiation
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand market penetration and achieve sales targets for existing NEKKTAR products, as well as develop Go-To-Market strategies for future product launches
  • Establish sales priorities to support and align with overall business priorities
  • Work cross-functionally with product development and marketing teams to align internal efforts and resources, implement continuous optimization of sales strategies, and support business development.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through proposals and presentations
  • Cultivate relationships and build partnerships with key customers, industry groups, and other stakeholders
  • Analyze sales data and review performance versus plan to identify areas for improvement and drive data informed plans for expansion across products and strategies
  • Remain on top of industry and cultural trends to thoughtfully curate and seek out strategic sales partnerships with brands, influencers, events, etc.

What you bring:

  • 3-4+ years of experience in sales, preferably in consumer packaged goods
  • Ability to build scalable process and structure for NEKKTAR’s sales functions
  • Strong financial analysis skills and creative problem solving
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and familiarity with the strategies utilized to develop and grow new business opportunities
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills, demonstrating an exceptional level of EQ in all professional interactions
