The Inventory Manager will be a critical member of the team that will help drive positive culture change for our inventory processes. This position will be responsible for managing our inventory controls, performing cycle counts, and leading the physical inventory performed at the site. This position will also play a key role in managing relationships with internal support groups and in the development of inventory strategies to improve efficiencies and reduce variances.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and direct team of inventory or warehouse employees

• Master ERP system (Sage) to ensure inventory accuracy is within target and visibility is create of current stock on hand by category

• Manage and prepare stock age reports in line with our stock management policies and drive action for the at-risk items

• Ensure stock is staged in advance to be issued to production in support of the production plan

• Ensure accuracy of stock issues and returns to and from production through clear handover procedures between production and inventory and the accurate processing of stock movement transactions in Sage

• Develop daily and monthly stock counting policies and procedures

• Track and measure stock counts, variance, and root causes to improve stock accuracy

• Manage the destruction and write off processes once approved by senior team

• Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management

• Manages the training of new inventory employees

• Other duties as assigned by your Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or similar

• Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role

• Experience working with ERP systems

• Experience conducting tracking and data analysis

• Product and inventory management certification a plus

• Experience working within the Cannabis industry is an asset

The Facility Operations Director is fully responsible for the day-to-day operations of one of the company’s grow &amp; processing (GP) facilities. Responsible for leading, monitoring, and analyzing current systems and procedures of operations and productions and logistics to ensure effectiveness. Position often acts as a liaison between other company departments, including managers of different areas of the organization.
