We are seeking to fill the Cannabis Licensing Manager position who is knowledgeable of federal laws and regulations relating to the cannabis industry. Licensing manager is responsible for keeping up with regularly changing rules and regulations, ensuring understanding and implementation throughout the company.

Job Types & Salary: Depends on experience, negotiable

Responsibilities:

• Have extensive knowledge of federal laws relating to the cannabis industry

• Maintain thorough and up to date knowledge of cannabis laws and regulations and apply to company policies, procedures, operations, and training

• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures and monitor the policies

• Analyze company regulations and ensure compliance to all development control

• Ensure completion of all regulatory reporting requirements and report to management issues and recommendations for their correction

• Manage and maintain the company’s licensing portfolio

• Professionally communicate and develop relationships with regulators and inspectors

• Research and provide guidance on cannabis requirements in multiple jurisdictions

• Monitor federal, state, and local pending legislative and regulatory change

• Create and optimize material process flows between multiple cannabis type licenses

• Ensure compliance with license requirements in a vertically integrated organization
