SHIFT LEADWhistler Medical Marijuana Corporation, a subsidiary of Aurora Cannabis Inc. is currently looking for a Shift Lead to work with our cultivation team in the fast-paced cannabis industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the irrigation duties and team members. This position is located in Pemberton, BC. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee worker productivity to ensure all duties and tasks are being performed efficiently and effectively and production goals are met. Provide ongoing feedback and direction as work is performed and assist in addressing any employee conflicts Promote happy employees and effective workflows. Set performance metrics for each team member and then work with team members to make sure that all metrics are met Arrange and organize manpower for the day and ensure proper shift coverage (e.g. when employees take time off) Check equipment and maintain a clean and safe work area. If equipment breaks, the leader coordinates with the Supervisor to order repairs Ensure that the workplace is safe and clean. This includes reviewing and enforcing all WorkSafe and OHS standards and policies.
