Full Job Description

• *POSITION SUMMARY**

The Post Harvest Tech I performs manual labor to assist in the processing of high grade cannabis, including, but not limited to; hanging, bucking, destemming, trimming and packaging of harvested plants under the supervision of the Post Harvest Manger. Attention to detail is extremely important. The ideal candidate has excellent attendance, is capable of sitting/standing in one place while trimming cannabis for long periods of time and is willing to be flexible by taking on other tasks as needed.

• *KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES**

- Buck, Destem & Trim cannabis

- Prepare cannabis for final packaging

- Package cannabis into jars or pre rolls packaging

- Properly account for and dispose of waste material

- Clean tools, equipment, and packaging rooms regularly

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Assist in verifying inventory of cannabis as needed

- Complete all tasks safely and efficiently

- Comply with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices & Worker

Protection Standards

- Other tasks as assigned by Post Harvest Manager

• *PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE + QUALIFICATIONS**

- Must be 21 years of age or older

- Basic math skills

- No cannabis allergies

- High school diploma or GED preferred

- Cannabis industry experience preferred

Additional Requirements:

- Computer skills are a plus (Google Suite and Metrc specifically)

- Attention to detail

That starts with showing up to work on time, like yourself, every day, with an attitude that is ready to consciously learn and share with our Canadian Customers while they experiment in the amazing new world of legal cannabis.</p><p><b>Necessary requirements are:</b></p><p>• Able to effectively communicate with diverse customers and create meaningful lasting connections.</p><p>• Ambitious self-starter with killer organizational and time management abilities.</p><p>• Able to strike up a conversation with anyone and be a brand ambassador.</p><p>• Provide feedback &amp; advice to others while maintaining a strong collaborative attitude.</p><p>• Physically able to engage on the floor for eight hours a day with reasonable breaks.</p><p>• Strong Knowledge of Cannabis.</p><p>• A driver's license as well as a vehicle to be able to perform transfers between stores.</p><p>• Unmatched cannabis knowledge</p><p>• Experience in the industry circa 2018 and earlier is an asset.</p><p>We hope to tackle educating Canadians about cannabis with an honest and trust-forward approach.
