The Role

We are looking for a Sr. Manager of Analytics and Insights to join our team in New York City reporting to the VP of Data & Analytics. You are a naturally curious person with inclination and skills for conducting evidence based inquiries. You are able to apply a consultative approach and break complex questions down using data. You enjoy mentoring and managing analysts. Reviewing analytical output and packaging it for a business audience comes naturally to you. You enjoy collaborating with business and product owners on projects to supply business insights and support decision making. You are unafraid to present data that contradicts anecdotal evidence. You understand the importance of providing timely and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis for business questions and deliver findings through structured story-telling

• Work cross functionally with stakeholders to Identify business priorities and scope analytics projects

• Mentor analysts to deliver business insights and data stories

• Manage growth and career development of analysts on the team

• Conduct experiments to draw inferences and measure impact of platform features

• Ideate and define the right metrics to measure platform performance

• Proactively set and communicate project roadmaps and deliver timely insights

• Build a strong partnership with Data Engineering and BI teams to automate key analysis work

• Become an expert in methodology and rationale used to calculate key metrics and KPIs of the company

Qualifications

• Rich experience delivering insights based on which business and product actions were taken

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a business or product analytics role as analytics lead

• 2+ years of experience managing analysts

• Expert level skills SQL skills

• Proficient using R or Python for data analysis; experience using packages for statistical analysis on key projects

• Experience using dbt is a strong plus

• Strong GitHub habits and focus on building reproducible analysis

• Expertise designing and conducting analysis using statistical tests and drawing inferences

• Bachelor's Degree or formal training in application of statistical techniques

• Proficient writing presentations with Google Slides

The Lab Manager oversees and manages all technical operations of the lab. This role must utilize their experience in chromatography, microbiological analysis, and other chemical methods. The Manufacturing Manager will maintain the safety of the organization and ensure the cleanliness and efficiency of production areas. The Manufacturing Manager instills quality control measures to produce high quality products. The Manufacturing Manager must monitor and maintain the production facility in accordance with the commonwealth and standards set by Cresco Labs.</p><p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><p>• Ensure Manufacturing operations are safe for our employees</p><p>• Manages ethanol and butane extraction processes</p><p>• Products are manufactured correctly, meeting all quality requirements prior to release</p><p>• Products are delivered on time to internal and external customers</p><p>• Operations are efficient and meeting the required productivity</p><p>• Compliance with all applicable regulations and inspection readiness at all times</p><p>• Oversee and participate in batch manufacturing of all formulated products including but not limited to cartridges, capsules, lotions, tinctures, patches, syringes, and bulk oils</p><p>• Review executed batch records and calculation sheets</p><p>• Report weekly and monthly metrics/KPI for delivery, quality, productivity and safety</p><p>• Manage third party testing and review test results against specifications</p><p>• Manage internal testing capabilities and laboratory spaces and equipment</p><p>• Escalate critical safety/quality/delivery issues to corporate and site management</p><p>• Complete ADP tasks for all Lab personnel</p><p>• Hire and train Manufacturing staff</p><p>• Maintain inventory of lab supplies and submit order requests</p><p>• Represent Lab in weekly site management meetings and sales/ops meeting</p><p>• Lead development activities related to new products, and optimization and scale-up of existing products and processes as directed</p><p>• Create and reinforce a positive culture within the Lab team consistent with Cresco</p><p>core values</p><p>• Coordinate with the Manufacturing &amp; Extraction Supervisors to meet production goals</p><p>• Lead business development tours. Intuit","position":"Laboratory Supervisor","type":"per year","url":"https://mint.intuit.com/salary/laboratory-supervisor/il"}],"function":["Science"],"description":"<div><p>The Second Shift Extraction Assistant Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Laboratory department, including strategically developing new products for market as well as ensuring uninterrupted production to provide a complete and full line of cannabis concentrate and other cannabis extract products adequate to meet or surpass sales goals, while remaining compliant with state/federal, and other regulatory authorities and organizations.</p><p><b>This position reports to:</b></p><p>Direct: General Manager</p><p>Indirect: Chief Operations Officer</p><p><b>The specific areas of direct supervision are:</b></p><p>• Assist the Director of Human Resources with hiring, training and developing team within the lab.</p><p>• Direct the development of new products with the Chief Operating Officer.</p><p>• Maintain detailed inventory records for laboratory equipment, medical cannabis, medical cannabis derivative products, by-products, waste, and in-process items.</p><p>• Create daily, weekly, and monthly production and staff schedules and provide report weekly.</p><p>• Maintain seven (7) days a week production schedule, and must provide agent one day off after 6 days of consecutive work (agents must not work seven days straight).</p><p>• Communicate and enforce laboratory safety rules to department and interdepartmental help.</p><p>• Schedule safety training and PPE fitting as needed for laboratory associates.</p><p>• Enforce laboratory PPE requirements.</p><p>• Maintain and update chemical, gas, and other ingredient inventories.</p><p>• Maintaining all documentation required to operate within budget and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.</p><p><b>Essential Functions:</b></p><p>• Hiring, training, and developing within the Department with assistance of Director of Human Resources.</p><p>• Train lab associates in proper lab equipment use, safety policy, and track development.</p><p>• Direct and assist with new product development guided by current industry trends.</p><p>• Update and maintain lab safety plan/manual and SDS manual.</p><p>• Manage production goals so always supply full menu, while adhering to labor cost guidelines.</p><p>• Maintain laboratory equipment and utensils in sanitary, safe and organized manner.</p><p>• Ensure that the laboratory department stays current with all applicable licensing as well as all documentation required.</p><p>Required Skills</p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><p>• Minimum Master’s degree in Chemistry and work experience in cannabis laboratory setting preferred</p><p>• Minimum of five years’ experience managing a high production laboratory environment.</p><p>• Full knowledge of Department of Agriculture and Department of Public Health Rules.</p><p>• Fire Safety and Hazardous Material Safety training.</p><p>• Ability to quickly create and modify processes and procedures to for the department.</p><p>• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization.</p><p>• Ability to travel as necessary (Barry, Delavan, and Downers Grove IL, with possibility of others states, as added).</p><p>Desired Skills</p><p>• Prior Cannabis Lab / Manufacturing experience.</p><p>About Revolution Global</p><p>Revolution Cannabis is committed to producing the cleanest, most reliable and efficacious medical cannabis products.</p><p>Our team is comprised of passionate cannabis cultivation, public health, and research professionals united by a desire to cultivate health and happiness through the science of cannabis.
