Located in Saskatoon, SK this position will report directly to the HR Manager. The HR Business Partner is a driven, highly organized, outstanding communicator with the ability to multitask when priorities change. The Lab Manager oversees and manages all technical operations of the lab. This role must utilize their experience in chromatography, microbiological analysis, and other chemical methods. The Lab Manger will work with the management team in establishing and implementing standard operating procedures, selecting staff and developing the lab's team of qualified employees. All lab operation activities fall under the manager's duties, which include but are not limited to program results, lab costs, hiring, quality assurance, and project development. The contractor must be familiar with leading Planning Charrettes, developing DD Form 1391 (Pax System), and cost estimation for DoD facilities. As the Military Master Planner, the contractor must have the ability to travel to facilitate data collection and charrettes, in-person and distance stakeholder and agency coordination, and have interview and project programming experience.</p><p>Job Requirements</p><p><b>Requirements</b></p><p><b>Minimum Required Knowledge:</b></p><p>• 6+ years of direct military master planning and programming experience</p><p>• Knowledge of execution for Area Development Plans, Installation Development Plans, Facility Requirements Analyses, Capacity Utilization Studies, Planning Charrettes, and DD Forms 1391 Development, as well as use of the PAX system</p><p>• Knowledge of computer hardware and software programs indigenous to the practice of military planning, such as ASIP, RPLANS, ISR, HQIIS, PAX system, etc.</p><p>• Solid understanding of GIS use, principles, data standards, and projections</p><p>• AICP</p><p><b>Minimum Required Skills:</b></p><p>• Effective communication skills - technical writing skills, PowerPoint, Acrobat, and Microsoft office software, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel (preferred)</p><p>• Creative critical thinking skills to gather relevant information to solve less well-defined planning problems</p><p>• Ability to work on several projects or issue simultaneously</p><p>• Ability to manage time effectively and meet firm deadlines</p><p>• Direct others in the completion of required studies/reports</p><p>• Group facilitation skills for use with community workshops are a plus</p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><p>• Must be a U.S. Citizen</p><p>• Must have a current passport</p><p>• Security clearance is favorable, but not required</p><p><b>Benefits:</b></p><p>Tactica Management Services offers a comprehensive benefits package including Paid Time Off, a matching retirement program, and competitive salaries commensurate with skills and experience.
