Our client, a Canadian licensed cannabis cultivation, processing, and consumer packaged goods company based out of St Thomas, ON is looking for a full-time Inventory Coordinator to join their growing team.

Reporting to the site QA VP, will be responsible for various aspects related to inventory control and receiving activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and attentiveness. Have a strong capability to multi-task and be personable. This individual must be a leader and be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a complete and current inventory of all cannabis and cannabis product inventory and associated records

• Performing weekly cycle counts to ensure accuracy within the inventory systems

• Responsible for the preparation and organization of physical inventory

• Help administer all incoming and outgoing shipments in conjunction with the Shipping and Receiving associate.

• Assist in preparation of monthly reports for Health Canada and CRA

• Working with various departments to determine what product is needed for production

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining inventory, storage, cataloguing and other systems in accordance with company SOP's

• Responsible for inventory cycle counts to ensure proper inventory numbers

• Assist in maintaining productivity, delivery reliability, safe storing practises, shipping schedules, and all other inventory objectives

• Utilizing inventory management software as required

• Other duties as assigned Manager/Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Must have 3+ years work experience in inventory, record keeping, or data entry

• College or University education in supply chain management or related field of study

• Strong computer skills required in Excel (i.e. filter, sort, formulas), with the ability to leverage technology to provide efficiency and accuracy

• Experience with cannabis inventory an asset

• Experience with ERP systems is an asset

• Must have ability to safety lift 50lbs

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

• Must be able to provide a clear criminal record check

• Must be able to work Monday - Friday

Warehouse and inventory management duties include but not limited to : Complete responsibility for all inbound, outbound and internal facility inventory transactions Ensure supplier purchase order payment information is coordinated with accounting team Manage secure transportation for all METRC items Manage purchase order process which includes receiving entry and checking for accuracy, compliance and quality.</p><p>Communicate with manufacturing, purchasing teams and other departments as needed to research discrepancies Auditing the physical inventory to ensure that the inventory aligns precisely with system inventory numbers and locations for all applicable systems Setup and manage new items and SKU's in ERP system Account for all product receipt of goods, ensuring receipt information is updated in the ERP and METRC systems Monitor use and inventory levels of selected SKUs updating forecasts.</p><p>Update computer inventory systems with timely and valid information when necessary. Periodically meet with and exchange information with production managers / leads sharing the same vendor responsibilities.</p><p>Assist with resolving vendor disputes. Move received goods to proper storage location in warehouse and vaults. Handle outgoing shipments with UPS, LTL and secure transports.</p><p>Keep warehouse clean, safe and organized. Serve as the secondary Metrc Administrator, ensuring the account is always current and compliant.</p><p>Conduct regular Metrc audits, remediate issues as needed Conduct regular inventory audits, reconcile inventory records as needed, manage and maintain extensive organized and compliant inventory records.</p><p>Develop and implement effective inventory management best practices and procedures Identify inventory anomalies, troubleshoot, remediate issues, and update procedures to ensure the situation is isolated.</p><p>Provide inventory management training to staff as needed. Receive and initiate product transfers between licenses. Ensure the comprehensive, timely, and compliant receipt of product transfers from other licensed facilities.</p><p>Ensure that all products are stored and handled in secure, sanitary, compliant conditions that will mitigate exposure to pests and various contaminants.</p><p>Other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications : Minimum of 3 years of inventory management and warehouse material handling experience- experience using industry-specific software is not required but preferred.</p><p>Must possess expert counting, tracking, and inventory management skills Must be able to pass a background check with no pending charges or convictions within the past 10 years for a controlled substance-related felony Must be 21 years of age or older.</p><p>Must have reliable transportation.
