THE RUNDOWN
As a full-time Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing, growing and being the face of our brand to our valued customers.
In this role, you must be able to multitask, work quickly, and efficiently as well as be self-motivated within a dynamic, ever-changing work environment.
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Developing and maintaining the sales pipeline from prospecting leads to closing sales
Identify new leads from field discovery, your own network, and source sites, such as the BCC
Relay feedback from customers to the marketing, customer support, procurement, and logistics teams on a regular basis
Maintain CRM database and ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate
Collaborate with the rest of the sales team to identify and grow opportunities and address client pain points and barriers to success
Utilizes feedback, data, sales trends, etc. to share ideas and insights to improve products, services, strategies, promotions, and sales
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Set field appointments for your Account Executive in new and existing doors
Assist with the resolution of customer and client facing problems
Develop , plan and implement daily, weekly, and monthly plans for leadership to make educated decisions around real time data
Monitor sales metrics as requested by the Executive and Leadership teams
Accurate monthly forecasting based on your prospect and account book
Reaching or exceeding your forecasted sales goal while maintaining a healthy overall sales margin
Assist in the alignment between marketing and sales initiatives to ensure launches are on time and coordinated
Provide 2nd level backup support for the Sales Operations Manager by inputting orders as needed by the sales team
THE QUALIFIERS
College degree or 1-3 years of related industry experience with a successful track record of meeting and exceeding expectations
Previous experience in the cannabis industry and strong product knowledge required
Knowledge of Sales, Client workings and Customer Service
Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of computer / web software, including CRM (Pipedrive, Hubspot, etc), Asana, Slack, MS Office Suite and Email
Sales CRM software experience
Results oriented, analytical, self-starter and team player
Note : All employees will conduct cross training which may include but not limited to :
METRC, Quickbooks, Sales Order Processing, Compliance and any other applications used by WCC.
