As the Store Managers right hand – you will work closely with the Store Manager by managing staff, overseeing operations and supporting our customer service model. Our ideal candidate should excel in environments where you problem solve and think outside of the box to overcome challenges and achieve business metrics while remaining compliant under AGCO guidelines. We are looking for a proven leader who is very passionate about their work with experience in retail management. You will lead our staff in maximizing our sales targets and be a brand ambassador for our store. You will manage the overall function and day-to-day retail store operations. You are a team player, and partner with the Store Manager to create a thriving retail business and positive environment.

Requirements:

  • 19 years of age or older
  • CannSell Ontario Standard Certificate (prior to start date)
  • MUST have up to date background criminal check
  • Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, closing and holidays
  • Covid Vaccinated
  • Retail Management Experience
  • Work independently

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years related experience in a retail sales/management, Cannabis preferred
  • Professionalism and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff, and vendors
  • Proven reliability and strong work ethics
  • The ability to build and cultivate lasting customer relationships and enable all staff members to do the same
  • A strong leader that drives results, develops talent and focuses on the customer
  • A strong sense of compliance by following policies and procedures and AGCO guidelines
  • Proficiency in handling cash and utilizing a POS system (additional training will be provided)
  • Technical skills including experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong organization, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • In-depth understanding of cannabis and the cannabis industry an asset
  • Professional, tidy appearance and good personal hygiene
