Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Creating the best-in-class retail experience for both customers and employees.
The Assistant Store Manager will report and work directly with the Store Manager and District Manager to aid in day-to-day operations.
Support the Store Manager with ensuring the Point of sale (POS), cash handling, and database system are used efficiently and accurately.
Maintain and manage continuous knowledge of each product and utilize the educational programs offered through FARM.
Inspire a culture of service and training, lead by example, and maintain relationships with clients and employees.
In partnership with the Store Manager, District Manager and the HR department, drive performance through monitoring, planning, coaching, and appraising team results.
Consistently manage performance through accountability and development utilizing all company driven policies, tools, and platforms.
Support training and development of Budtenders; using standardized operating procedures and FARM management tools.
Assist in the continuous development of policies and procedures to improve efficiencies.
Ensure brand standards meet company expectations and government regulations are always being followed by all employees
Understand and communicate the brand aesthetic, philosophy and core values to the team and customers, leading by example with an exemplary attitude
Maintain positive customer service interactions at all points of customer interaction including email and phone.
Oversee loss prevention policies and procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Correspond collaboratively with Head Office for accounting/payroll purposes and addressing system issues.
Other duties as required by the Store Manager, District Manager and/or Head Office.
Requirements:
1+ year in retail management.
Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities
Strong work ethic demonstrates critical thinking and logic.
Excellent conflict resolution, time management and highly developed communication skills.
Proven ability to work with retail operating systems, well versed in MS Suite programs.
Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Cannabis knowledge and passion.
Minimum 19 years of age.
BC Selling it Right Certificate required.
