HR PROJECT & COMPLIANCE MANAGER:

The HR Project and Compliance Manager reports to the Director of HR Operations & Learning and is responsible to increase the efficacy, efficiency and compliance of the HR department by partnering with the appropriate stakeholders. This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration and compliance of multiple HR projects and daily processes. The HR Project & Compliance Manager exhibits a high degree of ownership in assigned delivery of HR oriented projects while adhering to all legal standards and in-house policies. This position is also responsible for auditing and enforcing regulations in all aspects, at all levels, as well as responsible for providing guidance on all compliance matters.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develops, implements and governs a project management plan for all assigned projects that provide visibility to project plan milestones, performance and auditing needs; includes acquisition/integration management.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills; include HRIS and HR Operations projects.
  • Leads the appropriate stakeholders involved in all projects ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Acts with an objective eye, sometime providing project intervention, to improve HR processes.
  • Serves as subject matter expert in providing stakeholders with project status updates
  • Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy/practice.
  • Collaborate with the HR and Legal departments to communicate the associated requirements with every applicable HR-based regulatory and legal and compliance training programs.
  • Remains updated on every employee-based regulatory and legislative changes and/or modifications and ensuring that developments in rules and policies are restructured with HR practices, articles, policies, and systems; includes state specified training requirements.
  • Research changes in rules and regulations, analyzing their effect on the company, and communicating findings report to leadership.
  • Drafts procedures, processes, policies to facilitate a better compliance stance in the company; Audits and enforces compliance with set standards.
  • Responsible for the preparation and delivery of compliance-based communications and training to appropriate employees.
  • Handles sensitive employee data or reports in a discreet manner.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Finance, Engineering, STEM, or a closely related field
  • PMP certification a plus!
  • Strong digital literacy and orientation, including knowledge and experience with MS Office suite, Google Suite, Excel, and database software.
  • Organization skills including the ability to multitask, make decisions and pay strong attention to details.
  • Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and simplified manner to non-technical users.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to include effective oral and written communication, presentation skills and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships.
  • Proven analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Proven experience managing confidential and sensitive employee data.
  • Ability to travel 15%
