Position Summary
Interactive Marketing Manager is the driving force behind the Company’s content creation and distribution strategy and activation. This person will grow and develop how we communicate with consumers across all social media channels, email marketing, text marketing, purchased electronic media, in-store education in both owned and wholesale accounts, and any other innovative ways we can create content to connect and build relationships with current and new consumers. This person must be able to foster relationships with consumers and grow followers through creative means. You must drive to find solutions and love working in an environment where you can take direction, report on progress, and have the initiative to create solutions. You will own this with the support and guidance of your manager and success will rest in your ability to create our future with your smarts and drive. The ideal candidate has a high level of cultural sensitivity and a passion for the industry, our product, and our consumers.
Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plans, manages, and executes company interactive strategy across all platforms
  • Sets strategy and goals and then executes the growth of followers and content interaction across all channels including social, online business and map listings, email, text, etc.
  • Leads efforts to create strategy, hire, and manage resources to build and launch e-commerce platforms to sell branded merchandise in compliance with state cannabis laws
  • Continuously monitors all activities for engagement opportunities and appropriately engages with customers and other key opinion leaders
  • Develops a strategy and executes a plan to build a community of influencers
  • Monitors social media for issues and crafts appropriate language for resolution
  • Work with customer service department to develop and oversee a response plan to inquiries through social media and to support rapid response communication
  • Strategizes with PR firm to create, execute and analyze social media buzz campaigns
  • Generates and analyzes activity to adjust strategy and continuously improve results
  • Works with design and digital content creators to build relevant editorial and promotional content for all platforms owning the timing and management of content delivery to maximize results.
  • Identifies, interviews, and makes final recommendation on outside resources to accomplish goals when necessary, including video, photography, etc.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing interactive strategies for large or medium-sized companies preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Experience with leading the creation content for web, email or social media channels required
  • Experience taking interactive communications platforms to the next level and driving growth in followers, reach, interaction, etc. required
  • Must possess excellent writing skills with attention given to spelling, grammar, and syntax
  • Ability to work proactively and independently, to seek and incorporate constructive feedback, and to manage and complete multiple tasks on deadline
  • Experience creating relationships with micro and macro-influencers highly valued
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop preferred
  • Experience with Instagram story design highly valued
  • Must be willing to have a flexible work schedule, including providing social media coverage on nights and weekends
  • Solid presentation skills – must be comfortable speaking to stakeholder groups and delivering results
  • Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively with others and under limited supervision
  • Ability to switch focus and perform challenging tasks for different marketing practices quickly and comfortably
  • Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for working with data to produce meaningful reports for internal and external stakeholders
