GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The finishing technician manicures the post-harvest cannabis, provides quality control on products and packages cannabis goods.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to Production Manager.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work may require prolonged sitting/standing, some bending, stooping and stretching.
Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate tools, a computer, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
Requires normal range of hearing.
Requires close vision with the ability to see color and adjust focus.
Requires lifting up to 20 pounds regularly and push/pull up to 40 pounds also use assistance (multiple people, forklift, dolly, etc.) when lifting/moving over 100 pounds.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a busy medical cannabis production facility and/or operations/finishing area.
The outdoor/indoor and greenhouse facility areas are very loud due to fans and filtration systems, fluctuating between extreme cold and hot temperatures.
Work may be stressful at times and may include dealing with difficult people and/or law enforcement.
Available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.) Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following OSHA regulations, organization standards and legal regulations.
Assemble cannabis products and follow Department approved Standard Operating Procedures.
Manicure and package cannabis flowers and products according to health and safety standards.
Store and transport medicine/product in designated areas.
Ensure proper care of product through curing, trimming, packaging, etc.
as needed.
Frequently maintain cleanliness and sanitization in production zones, tools, and equipment.
Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
Maintain set quality control on medicine.
Inspect product/medicine for contaminants.
Ensure proper care of product including trimming and manicuring.
Perform other related work as required.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
Knowledgeable on strains, genetics, and cannabis flower varietal expression and typical traits.
Needs to a have high level of organization, patience, and flexibility.
Ability to focus for long hours and maintain good ergonomics.
