The Shipping Receiving Clerk will perform an array of functions that will include various degree of involvement in all traditional and non-traditional aspects of shipping and receiving, within our fast paced environment that requires a high level of compliance and care.
Job Responsibilities :
• Releasing of Sales Orders
• Assigning of Lots to Sales Orders
• Registering Sales Orders
• Audit of Picks
• Filing of Paperwork
• Performing Bin Movements
• Cycle Counting
• Updating Daily Reporting
• Preparing Shipping Documents
• Posting Shipment Documents
• Placing of Packing Slips on Pallets
• Creating Waybills for Courier Orders
• Updating KPI Tracking Sheet Daily
• Visual Trailer inspections
• Assigning of Purolator Shipments
• Attending Management Meetings
• Supporting Management in Cost Savings Initiatives
Qualifications
• Degree in transportation / warehousing or a related field preferred
• Highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Fluent in English
• Functional knowledge of Supply Chain
• Interpersonal skills and relationship building
• Deadline-oriented
• Problem solving
• Continuous Improvement mindset
• Software skills such as Excel, Word, ERP
Expectations :
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team oriented and performance driven environment
• Has successfully completed all required forklift training, and the knowledge and experience to safely operate lifting devices
• Proficiency with computers
