OVERVIEW:
Cycle Counting and performing physical inventory counts & recounts for Masson facility. Inventory Management in distribution center, with the primary goal of ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained to maximize customer satisfaction. Working with limited direct supervision, the inventory clerk is responsible execute daily counts and report to inventory control management, using Microsoft Navision. The cycle counter assists in determining possible and actual shortages and reports anomalies to inventory control and operations planning. With a focus on aged inventory, plans are developed to convert product that will move.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counts, and recounts when required, at assigned inventory locations; and record counts on appropriate forms, and/or systems.
- Reconcile cycle counts with the Navision stock status balance, utilizing BI/Navision reports; performing inventory reconciliation processes to determine root cause of inconsistent data.
- Maintain necessary inventory records to report cycle count accuracies on a monthly basis.
- Review reconciliation and root cause with the appropriate supervisor and/or planner and work together to determine the appropriate error resolution to eliminate the cause of the error.
- Act as a resource in reconciling inventory adjustments. Make the necessary corrections to reflect accurate inventory values.
- Special projects as needed including class A inventory management
- Comply with the following Environmental, Cannabis Regulations, Health and Safety duties as a condition of employment
- Assist the warehouse and destruction team as require.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years relevant work experience in inventory management and cycle counting using an ERP system such as Navision.
- High School with 3+ years experience in production environments
- Knowledge of how to interact and operate warehouse management systems, platforms and devices such as RF scanning
- Knowledge of the cannabis industry
- Advanced understanding of cycle count process, inventory reconciliation and time management
- Work independently in a disciplined and productive focused manner
