Core Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain and Tracking, the Warehouse and Inventory Specialist will oversee the majority of inventory management activities within the facility.

This individual will manage and ensure the comprehensive and timely documenting and reporting of all inventory management activities.

The Warehouse and Inventory Specialist will also maintain facility compliance and security with regard to inventory tracking, storage, create and implement inventory management procedures.

They will also be expected to manage, account for, and report all inventory management activities to Director of Supply Chain and will also report necessary data in Metrc.

Their primary function is to facilitate the inventory management operations of the dispensary and cultivation. Warehouse and inventory management duties include but not limited to : Complete responsibility for all inbound, outbound and internal facility inventory transactions Ensure supplier purchase order payment information is coordinated with accounting team Manage secure transportation for all METRC items Manage purchase order process which includes receiving entry and checking for accuracy, compliance and quality.

Communicate with manufacturing, purchasing teams and other departments as needed to research discrepancies Auditing the physical inventory to ensure that the inventory aligns precisely with system inventory numbers and locations for all applicable systems Setup and manage new items and SKU's in ERP system Account for all product receipt of goods, ensuring receipt information is updated in the ERP and METRC systems Monitor use and inventory levels of selected SKUs updating forecasts.

Update computer inventory systems with timely and valid information when necessary. Periodically meet with and exchange information with production managers / leads sharing the same vendor responsibilities.

Assist with resolving vendor disputes. Move received goods to proper storage location in warehouse and vaults. Handle outgoing shipments with UPS, LTL and secure transports.

Keep warehouse clean, safe and organized. Serve as the secondary Metrc Administrator, ensuring the account is always current and compliant.

Conduct regular Metrc audits, remediate issues as needed Conduct regular inventory audits, reconcile inventory records as needed, manage and maintain extensive organized and compliant inventory records.

Develop and implement effective inventory management best practices and procedures Identify inventory anomalies, troubleshoot, remediate issues, and update procedures to ensure the situation is isolated.

Provide inventory management training to staff as needed. Receive and initiate product transfers between licenses. Ensure the comprehensive, timely, and compliant receipt of product transfers from other licensed facilities.

Ensure that all products are stored and handled in secure, sanitary, compliant conditions that will mitigate exposure to pests and various contaminants.

Other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications : Minimum of 3 years of inventory management and warehouse material handling experience- experience using industry-specific software is not required but preferred.

Must possess expert counting, tracking, and inventory management skills Must be able to pass a background check with no pending charges or convictions within the past 10 years for a controlled substance-related felony Must be 21 years of age or older.

Must have reliable transportation. Must not be registered as a primary caregiver or must withdraw registration as a registered primary caregiver prior to accepting an official offer of employment.

Able to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, friendly environment Ability to quickly learn and master new skills ERP software experience preferred Detail-oriented, dependable and able to work well both alone and with others Previous cannabis industry experience is not required.

Ability to adhere to high standards, strict policies & procedures, and regulations Highly organized with strong analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy A customer orientation understanding & monitoring the needs of both internal and external customers A love for problem-solving : preventing and solving issues, understanding and mitigating problems A logistics person with a keen eye for continuous process improvement and optimization Able to lift to 50lbs
