Cinder is seeking an experienced executive manager to fill the role of District Manager. Ideal candidates should have previous managerial and leadership experience. The District Manager would ideally be able to have a strong in-store presence between locations, work closely with Marketing to drive sales, and HR to ensure company policy and standards are being met.

The responsibilities of a District Manager at Cinder are to ensure order and leadership within the management team. The District Manager is responsible for company strategy planning, setting and tracking company and management sales goals, employee development and management, and communication with appropriate members of the leadership team, acting as a bridge between management and company owners. The job requires confidentiality, excellent communication skills, above average leadership, problem solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever changing work environment.


  • Guiding managerial staff as a leadership mentor
  • Train incoming managers
  • Aligning overall company strategy with our values and mission statement
  • Set target sales and labor goals
  • Track labor costs
  • Act as a liaison between accounting and management
  • General employee coaching
  • Execute banking needs for all locations
  • Attend various meetings and ensure follow through
  • Planning and execution of management training and team building courses
  • Spearhead charity contributions and events
  • Help PMs plan for large sales events.
  • Research market trends
  • Attend continuing education in leadership training
  • Track shrinkage/profit from month to month and see trends as they happen
  • Ensure there is effective communication between all teams
  • Perform store walkthroughs to check on things like compliance, cleanliness, storage etc
  • Assist in navigating difficult employee interactions
  • Create and Mainstream documents when needed
  • Manager goal tracking for bonuses
  • Overseeing special projects (overnight inventory, switching POS companies, CCRS, etc)
  • Deliver constructive managerial feedback and reviews

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a managerial role
  • Strong decision-making capabilities
  • Above-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
  • Previous performance evaluation experience
