Job Title: Finished Goods Supervisor

Location: Pickering, ON

Working hours: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM or 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

About the Role:

The Finished Goods Supervisor is responsible for carrying the management of the Finished Goods team. The ideal candidate has experience providing leadership and direction in order to achieve production targets. Ensures the teams operational effectiveness and efficiency. A successful candidate will be efficient, detail oriented, and able to manage their time effectively. We’re looking for a talented and well-rounded individual to support our mission and have a big impact in this high growth industry. You will oversee and analyze the cycle of the product in order to increase efficiencies. You are responsible for ensuring adequate inventory levels for cannabis production across multiple shifts.


  • Supervise day-to-day finished goods operations for the applicable shift
  • Supervise the complete finished goods process and ensure all products meets required specifications
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure GPP standards are achieved
  • Maintain production schedules, including jobs scheduling and staff scheduling
  • Work closely with other department leaders to ensure smooth transition between shifts and optimize performance
  • Ensure finishing SOPs are followed and updated as required
  • Ensure sufficient stock for finished goods supplies, including future planning needs
  • Ensure sanitation procedures are being executed
  • Ensure training and development of employees, including completing performance reviews
  • Assist with inter-departmental equipment inventory, maintenance schedules and commissioning
  • Identify improvements in processing quality and efficiencies
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven leader with the ability to develop an inclusive culture and manage a team across multiple processes and areas
  • 3+ years’ experience in cannabis production and extraction facility or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ relevant management/leadership experiences in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Previous experience in cannabis industry an asset
  • Computer literacy in working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and self-motivated
  • Excellent accuracy, record keeping and documentation skills
  • Demonstrates leadership and team building skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Production Procedures
  • Knowledge of all departmental tasks and be willing to be trained in other areas
  • Knowledge of: Good Production Practices (GPP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Health Canada Regulations, Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, and/or TPM knowledge
  • Flexible to work off shift hours
