With our first location in Oshawa and expanding, we take pride in offering top of the line customer service. Cannabis & Co. was founded in 2021 and the Oshawa store will be our first of many to come! Our ideal budtender candidate provides exceptional customer experiences, meets/exceeds sales targets and adheres to all company policies, regulations, and requirements of Cannabis Retailers! Our budtenders are a remarkable part of our organization and brand, ultimately driving the success of Cannabis & Co. As a customer service expert and cannabis connoisseur, you will apply your knowledge and skills to (1) build genuine relationships with our customers, and (2) best understand our customer needs to make product recommendations that fit the experience they are looking for.

Our ideal Budtender will:
· Establish life-long relationships with customers by exceeding their expectations on product knowledge, earning their trust and being genuine.
· Have strong product knowledge while continuing to learn about Cannabis products and brands
· Act as an educator for customers to challenge the taboo of using Cannabis products and stigma of legalization whilst also promoting the Cannabis & Co. value of Care and Convenience
· Have strong communication skills to provide exceptional customer experiences
· Have strong organization skills to ensure that displays/inventory and overall cleanliness requirements are adhered to
· Meet and exceed sales targets by applying sales strategies that are in the interest of our customers, leading to an excellent customer experience.
· Process transactions through POS systems (knowledge of COVA preferred) and leverage technology to navigate product data
· Remain compliant to applicable laws, regulations and requirements governing Cannabis Retailers, including internal policies and standards
· Execute all tasks as required by the Store Manager and Key Leaders
Requirements:
· Have a passion for Cannabis, knowledge of products, and willingness to learn more
· Customer service focused and friendly
· Demonstrate trust, integrity, and honesty
· Strong handle of technology leveraging tablets/applications to navigate product data
· Strong communication skills
· Strong organizational skills and ensuring good representation and cleanliness of the store
· Ability to carry boxes from 5-30 Lbs
· Minimum age of 19 years old
· Retail experience required
· Undergo background check and criminal check to be covered by employer
· CanSell Training Required
Job Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 15-30 per week
Salary: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
