Senior Software Engineer

Backbone provides technology and services that help cannabis and hemp companies manage their operations and see their supply chain clearly. THE ROLE:
As an engineer, youll tackle our product and engineering roadmap and help us create software that has a positive, lasting impact on the cannabis industry while building the future of distributed supply chain management. Our approach to all work is prototype iterate refine ship. This role comes with a high degree of autonomy, but we dont expect you to be an expert on all fronts, and you will be supported and mentored as you work with our internal teams as well as directly with our customers to identify, scope, and build solutions.

You have experience building web applications - front-end, back-end, k
You are familiar with React, Python, Django, and Postgre
SQL - or youre excited to dive in and learn these technologies You want to make an impact on the company and the industry You can work independently and are self-motivating -- but you know when to ask for help You want to own features throughout their lifecycle (including after theyre in the hands of customers)
You are comfortable being part of a project from its inception, working with product managers, designers, and other teammates to develop requirements rather than being handed them
