Overview

Auxly Ottawa is looking for an organized individual with strong analytical skills to join our team! The Inventory Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that adequate levels of material and product inventories are maintained, conducting inventory movements in Sage ERP system, evaluating inventory needs, and implementing strategies to meet those needs. The individual will report to the Operations Director.

What can you expect to do

Develop, manage, and maintain cycle count process ensuring requirements are met per Auxly and Kolab Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for cannabis and non-cannabis inventory

Evaluate current inventory management procedures to identify and implement process improvements to facilitate continued increase in production volumes

Develop and implement measures to maintain strict control over access to inventory items

Work with the production team to ensure daily production records accurately reflect inventory transactions

Work with stakeholders to implement in-process live inventory transactions in Sage ERP by production staff on the production floor

Coordinate, manage and oversee the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts of cannabis and non-cannabis inventory

Oversee inventory movements in Sage ERP system upon completion and verification of records in accordance with established standards and specifications.

Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count goals.

Oversee the maintenance of accurate inventory records in Sage ERP software for cannabis and non-cannabis materials

Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies, identifying root cause and collaborating with Operations to drive corrective action (CAPA).

Oversee various inventory management functions which includes processing damages, holds, rework, and End of Life

Send timely and regular reports to direct supervisor on stock levels, issues etc.

Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports using SAP and MS Excel.

Any other related tasks as assigned, and as operationally required.

What we are looking for

3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment with specific exposures inventory control and cycle counting.

Good understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to manage up to 100 SKUS.

Advanced skill in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

WMS or ERP Inventory maintenance experience preferred

Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing

Attention to detail, self-directed and ability to thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing work environment

Frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials will be required

Desire to grow in this position within a rapidly growing industry.
