Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified IT Technician that will install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. You will “train” users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure. A successful IT Technician must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems. The ideal candidate will have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail. The goal is to build and maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability. Travel in this role is required (within the state) to troubleshoot IT issues within currently open locations and to assist in opening new locations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
  • Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
  • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place order

This position will be responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, positive individual who can think of no better way to spend the work day than potting big leafing, and harvesting cannabis plants with expert care and precision.</p><p>• Participating in cannabis harvest process including offload, harvesting, sanitizing and reloading flower rooms, milling and destruction of cannabis waste</p><p>• Harvesting and drying wet cannabis plants</p><p>• Accurately weigh and record post-harvest materials and manage cultivation waste</p><p>• Cleans and sanitizes dry rooms</p><p>• Document any and all activity in Illinois traceability program</p><p>• Maintain open communication with management team and co-workers</p><p>• Maintain a neat and organized work area allowing for the proper segregation of materials and processes</p><p>• Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties</p><p>Required Skills</p><p>• Previous experience in a hands-on environment with high attention to detail preferred</p><p>• High school diploma or equivalent required</p><p>• Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness</p><p>• Attention to detail and ability to focus on one task for extended periods of time</p><p>• Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment</p><p>• Ability to work independently throughout a workday with given directives</p><p>• Must pass any and all required pre-employment screenings</p><p>• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry</p><p>• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age</p><p>• Must be approved by the D.O.A. to receive an Agent badge</p><p>Desired Skills</p><p>• Previous experience in a cultivation or post harvest role in a regulated cannabis facility</p><p>• Degree in horticulture or botany</p><p>About Ascend Wellness Holdings</p><p>Ascend is a vertically integrated cannabis cultivator, processor and provisioning center operator with assets in Michigan, Illinois, Massachusetts and Ohio.
