Summary/Objective

The Dispensary Inventory Lead is responsible for managing policy and procedure, compliance, inventory, receiving orders, and all other operational objectives of the store operations. This position manages the inventory to improve accuracy, training, and execution of operational initiatives. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:

Policy, Procedures & Daily Operations

Oversee and execute all inventory specific initiatives.

Ensure the store is audit compliant and achieves acceptable scores.

Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures within the retail store.

Communicate, work closely, and successfully collaborate with other Managers to achieve the organization’s goals.

Train employees in expected operational standards using appropriate tools such as SOP’s

This role may be required to assist with other duties as assigned as well as in other functions of the operation including but not limited to: outreach, security, delivery, and visual merchandising

Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.

Embody the culture, values, and tenets of iAnthus and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectives.

Implement inventory controls to track and account for all cannabis and non-cannabis products.

Implement procedures and notification policies for proper disposal of wasted, returned, or damaged products.

Maintain records, including operating procedures, inventory records, audit records, adjustments/variance reports, and transfer records

Proper storing, labeling, tracking, and reporting of inventory.

Ensure all menus are up to date and are consistent with other stores

Weekly online inventory scrub / backend integration update (uphold dutchie menu score)

Assist with inventory ordering and intake

Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual full inventory counts

Keep track of expiring products for in-store specials

Implement organizational system for products on sales floor and the vault

Maintain protocols for Metrc tags

Qualifications & Education Requirements

Must be 21 years of age.

Preferred Skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Capable of following complex instructions.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Willingness to participate in the company’s screening process, including a background investigation.

Attention to detail.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts.

Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays.

Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds.

Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions.

General office environment.

Extended computer usage.

Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained, care of perishable product is properly executed, FIFO process is being upheld, finished goods are received/stored properly, processed and made ready for sale in a timely manner. Ensures all cannabis products meet or exceed state and local compliance standards.
