Job Overview

48North is a vertically integrated licensed cannabis producer focused on low-cost cultivation, brand, and next-generation cannabis products. 48North processes and manufactures next-generation cannabis products at Good: House, 48North’s state-of-the-art processing and manufacturing facility located in Brantford, Ontario. The company also operates delshen, a premium indoor craft cannabis facility located in Northern Ontario.

48North is recruiting for an Inventory Coordinator position. This position will report to the Operation Supervisor and will be part of 48North’s Operations team. The Inventory Coordinator will aspire to work in the growing cannabis field with an award-winning team and will be responsible for overseeing Inventory operations at our state-of-the-art facility.

The role will be based out of the Delshen Therapeutics, located in Sesekinika, ON. (Near Kirkland Lake)

Responsibilities

• Embody 48North’s mission and strategy and act in responsible, ethical, and honest manner while consistently leading by example while promoting a positive company culture.

• Work with other team members to coordinate operations and activities within and between departments.

• Support and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Production Practices (GPP).

• Support all inventory-related tasks within the facility, to ensure timely and accurate tagging and tracking.

• Verify all products prior to sale are correctly added into the tracking systems to include: price, useable weight, product type, and barcode.

• Notify Operation Supervisor and QAP of any identification of inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Receive cannabis and non cannabis inventory and monitor levels.

• Prepare inventory for transfer between registered licensed cannabis facilities.

• Assist with transfers from bulk inventory items.

• Track and record all product related waste in compliance with regulations.

• Conduct regular inventory product audits to ensure accuracy of counts.

• Ensuring widespread compliance with regulations, security protocols, access protocols, and company policies, procedures, and SOPs

• Maintain a clean and extremely organized inventory warehouse and consumable/raw goods warehouse.

Qualifications

• Inventory experience or Inventory related program/education required.

• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems would be considered an asset.

• Experience with Ample or similar Seed to Sale systems would be considered an asset.

• Excellent time and project management skills

• Excellent basic mathematical skills

• Knowledge of regulations.

• Meticulous records maintenance skills.

• Problem-solving aptitude.

• Leadership and people management skills.

• Works well independently but also a strong team player.

• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills preferred but can be taught
