Who You Are

The Business Analyst will be someone who has strong business acumen and thrives on bringing data and market intelligence to Business Units. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and visualization skills. The right candidate will be creative, agile, innovative, and able to manage in an exciting environment of change and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Data Gathering & Management

• External - Sales data, volume, $$, price, etc.

• External - Business Intelligence data

• External - Research demand drivers

• Internal - Inventory levels

• Internal – forecast/demand plan and budgeting

• Data cleansing as required

• Business Intelligence Tool Management

• Input data into the BI Tool

• Check the output accuracy of BI dashboard, including metrics and KPIs

• Redesigning dashboard & KPI presentation in BI to meet changing business needs and Senior Management preference

• Analysis

• Brand analysis including pricing, positioning, competitive analysis, etc.

• Generate Statistical Sales Forecasting (SSF), utilizing historical data, seasonality, trend, and demand drivers

• Combine SSF with forecasts from category management, marketing, and sales.

• Analyze business results and find the root cause of sales and inventory deviation against budget/plan.

• Reporting

• Monthly Financial, Planning & Analysis

• Track business unit performances / KPIs

• Sales and Inventory updates, budget vs. Actual

• Consensus Forecast Accuracy (Forecast vs. Actual)

• Inventory Turnovers (by-product family)

• Collaboration

• Drive the creation of Unconstraint Demand Forecast by incorporating statistical forecast by collaborating with each business unit (forecast owners)

• Work with Sales and Category Management on new products Go To Market strategy

Education & Experience

• Experience in the business intelligence, demand planning, or analytics field.

• Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office

• Expert knowledge of data visualization tools – such as Microsoft Power BI

• Experience with CPG, foods, or any other high volume products
