JOB SUMMARY

The Enterprise Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for ensuring the provision of a high performance, fault tolerant business systems infrastructure to AWH corporate and Retail & Cultivation users. They will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting new enterprise technology as necessary. This role will collaborate with Information Technology (IT) on the development, revision, and implementation of overall IT Strategy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

• Act as the lead systems administrator in solving Level 1 and Level 2 incidents from user and client-base by prioritizing such work and resolving efficiently and completely.

• Act as the lead systems administrator in handling user administration requests on the full range of server systems. Deliver an efficient response to the user-base and reinforce the customer focus of the Technology Team.

• Perform hands-on configuration of Microsoft 365 platforms and network components, as well as switches, firewalls and routers.

• Design, configure, test and implement network and systems capabilities.

• Document processes to include but not limited to – project management reporting, asset management, accomplishments report, procedures, activity checklist, and help desk incident reporting.

• Implement and maintain network infrastructure security.

• Perform accurate maintenance of systems change logs so that there is an audit trail in the event of system failures.

• Perform configuration work to include patching, upgrades and HW / SW installations as required.

• Assist in specification and procurement of new equipment in response to user or internally generated demands in order to continuously develop and drive forward the performance and quality of the infrastructure.

• Maintain and develop storage and backup systems in the business systems domains to offer the most reliable and best performing service to the user-base in order to maintain high levels of user productivity.

• Maintain the VPN service in order to offer solid remote working capabilities to the user-base.

• Provide phone and voicemail system maintenance and development.

• Be on-call, work irregular hours, and travel (max 50%) as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. Will accept a combination of relevant work experience, courses and certifications.

• MCSE /CCNA / CCNP / CISSP helpful.

• Minimum three years’ business experience in an IT environment that includes a minimum two years in a direct Systems Administrator role. Preferred experienced should include but is not limited to: Windows 2016/2019 Server, Windows 10 Professional, and Microsoft365, SQL Server 2016+, plus solid IP networking.

• Proven experience with user account and PC desktop management in a Windows10, Active Directory, Azure and Microsoft 365 network environment.

• Experience with VoIP and HPBX implementations.

• Ability to work independently on a team, and a virtual team.

• Ability to be on-call, work irregular hours, and travel (max 50%) as required
