Job Summary:

Provides manual labor to support the activities and operations of the Cultivation Department, while abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines. Assist with coordination of all grow operations including daily activities, quality assurance, potting, manicuring, harvesting as well as assuring compliance with local, state and federal licensing requirements

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Responsible for following all operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties.
  • Ensure the appropriate information is accurate and listed clearly in accordance with the state regulations and company standard operating procedures.
  • Carefully follow directions as provided by the lead grower.
  • Responsible for completing any work assigned to them during their scheduled shift, as well as information sharing
  • Maintain open communication with management team and other co-workers
  • Report employee issues or product situations
  • Responsible for following all verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties
  • Manage plants from vegetative state until harvest
  • Accurate tracking and recording of the data during each phase of the cultivation process.
  • Oversee all the tasks in the grow including cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, topping, flushing and foliar.
  • Work closely with leads daily
  • Manage plant scheduling and organization
  • Execute preventative maintenance and elimination of all types of mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus and gnats etc.
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as legal plant treatment options. This must include knee eye for spotting issues before they become a problem
  • Willingness to continue to learn best practices of medical marijuana cultivation with a strong interest in horticulture, agriculture and greenhouse operating systems.
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous grow/laborer/cannabis experience preferred
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Knowledge of growing technologies, such as lights, irrigation, fertilizer, and more
  • Knowledge of different strains and their unique growing demands

Data entry and product tracking through the product lifecycle with a high degree of accuracy. Some of these processes include cycle counting, report running, and maintaining a high level of communication among various departments. Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of inventory is a vital component to ensure continued operations and avoids product or inventory shortages. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist SM with all functions associated with the oversight of provisioning center Complete responsibility for all inbound and internal facility inventory transactions Manage secure transportation for all METRC items Manage and supervise the activities of staff, and make recommendations or decisions regarding hiring, discipline, termination, or advancement of employees Account for all product receipt of goods, ensuring receipt information is updated in the ERP and METRC systems Auditing the physical inventory to ensure that the inventory aligns precisely with system inventory numbers and locations for all applicable systems Coordinate and conduct cycle and inventory evaluation and verification procedures for all locations Research inventory out of balance situations and adjustments; implement controls to reduce adjustments Create discrepancy reporting to provide the quantity and value of lost or missing inventory for ERP and METRC systems, and report to appropriate Management Make approved adjustments to the systems when required Communicate with manufacturing, purchasing teams and other departments as needed to research discrepancies Train staff to ensure a consistent performance and knowledge base of company standard operating procedures, a comprehensive understanding of all products, and best practices for personnel Assist in ensuring the provisioning center's compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, and directives in all respects, as well as best practices and company policies Strive for customer satisfaction in all respects and ensure a customer friendly environment Maintain and continuously update standard operating procedures, as directed Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Must be 21 Years or older and be able to pass a 10 year criminal background check 3+ years inventory control / management experience METRC experience highly preferred Ability to quickly learn and master new skills Strong math skills, proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word Inventory management experience preferred Purchase order management preferred ERP software experience preferred CPIM certification preferred Detail-oriented, dependable and able to work well both alone and with others Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Employee needs to be able to walk, sit, stand, crouch and reach throughout the day Full Time.
