C&G Management currently operates three recreational dispensaries (“Cannabis & Glass”) in Spokane County located in North Spokane, Spokane Valley, and Liberty Lake, and is ranked among the top 10% highest grossing retailers in the state of Washington. We also operate an additional "Cannabis & Glass" location in Oregon, and a medical cannabidiol dispensary in Iowa (“Iowa Cannabis Co.”).

OVERVIEW:

C&G Management is searching for a Human Resources Administrator to join our team!

The Human Resources Administrator will provide professional level human resource services to employees on a wide variety of sensitive, complex and critical human resources issues. Keen attention to detail, the ability to read, interpret, and apply state and federal law, and company policy will be essential as they help educate and explain HR issues to employees.

This position is based in Spokane Valley, but may require travel occasionally throughout Spokane. Out of market candidates are encouraged to apply, but we are not currently offering relocation assistance at this time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate cross functionally between Human Resources and other departments within the company including but not limited to Retail Operations and Corporate Operations

• Provide daily administrative support to Human Resources Director & Talent and Acquisition Manager

• Assist with Human Resources activities to ensure legal compliance fairness and consistency

• Provide administrative support to management teams which require handling confidential data

• Respond to questions on sick leaves, vacations and other benefits for employees when appropriate

• Track personnel benefits and payroll actions for new hires, promotions, demotions, transfers, terminations, etc. into the company’s Human Resources Management system

• Consult with employees on FMLA, COBRA, employee benefit packages, and related issues

• Prepare FMLA, COBRA, and benefit plan paperwork and process the appropriate forms

• Administer benefit programs such as life, health, dental, vision, vacation, sick leave, and employee assistance

• Conduct Interviews

• Coordinate employee meetings and activities as needed

• Assist with tracking employee training

• Draft appropriate correspondence at the Human Resources Director's discretion including disciplinary actions, grievance responses, company HR announcements etc.

• Draft, review, and provide feedback on documents related to employee management including performance and development plans, expectations, job descriptions, employee handbooks, etc.

• Keep abreast of changes in all human resource related administrative policies, procedures, guidelines, and Washington State Administrative Codes (WAC’s)

• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Human Resources or related field

• 1+ year in a Human Resources related role

• 1+ year in a primarily business administrative function

• Outstanding communications skills, including the capability to present information accurately and thoroughly through oral and written means

• A demonstrated history of prioritizing multiple competing priorities and successfully completing all tasks assigned on-time

• Must possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment and have experience dealing with confidential matters

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Prior experience in benefit administration is preferred
