Your Role
This position is responsible for interfacing & problem solving with a number of business partners. as well as providing HR administrative and transactional support. This position is based in Chicago and is expected to work between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday – Friday, with the opportunity for overtime. Currently expected to be in the office two days per week; however, this may turn to full-time presence in the office depending on business needs. Occasional late night and weekend work may be required.
Day to Day

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Human Resources team with a proactive and customer service-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond in supporting the HR team.
  • Process Rippling transactions for employee lifecycle data changes including new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, leave of absences, and more.
  • Serve as primary user for all HR systems and run reports, as assigned.
  • First point of contact for HR questions including, but not limited to, benefits, payroll, vacation or policies. Follow through to ensure employees receive prompt answers to their questions. Demonstrate a sense of urgency.
  • Draft and prepare correspondence such as offer letters & termination packets, with direction from senior HR members.
  • Complete I-9 verifications for all new employees and all administrative aspects of onboarding.
  • Plan logistics for employee meetings, trainings, and roundtables.
  • Assist in research, coordination and execution of Culture Council initiatives such as virtual team building events, care packages, and group fitness challenges
  • Maintain and update all employee email distribution lists and org charts.
  • Responsible for updating Lattice and LMS systems, as needed.
  • Partner with Recruiting when needed to help coordinate talent brand awareness initiatives, such as:
  • Identify and vet employer award/recognition opportunities and manage application processes
  • Gather internal company "reviews" from engaged team members to highlight on relevant social media platforms
  • Ad hoc projects, as assigned.

Preferred Experience

  • Strong computer skills, including G-Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) with mid to advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel (ability to process data, create pivot tables, charts and formulas).
  • Must have at least two years of experience in a HR Coordinator role.
  • Demonstrated interest or degree in Human Resources.
  • Flexible. Open to change. Ability to operate in the gray.
  • Highly organized, and able to balance and easily shift priorities.
  • Possess strong project and process management skills, with a demonstrated track record of accomplishing tasks and delivering results.
  • High attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, and with a wide range of clients - both individually and in groups.

This position will be responsible for building and implementing the overall Service Center strategies. This leader will provide leadership, planning, and management for the development of a service center and facilitate efficient HR operations to meet current and future business needs.</p><p>The HR Shared Services organization is accountable for responding to HR-related inquiries from managers, employees, and HR Business Partners, processing transactional support for HR functions, and championing continuous HR processes improvements.</p><p>Core Job Duties</p><p>• Implement a National Employee Services model: Design and implement a centralized employee support delivery model, delivering HR support and interactions to employees across key moments in the employee lifecycle in a unified, consistent, compliant manner.</p><p>• Partner closely with HRBPs and leaders across the HR team to assess existing programs, processes, and practices and identify opportunities to centralize and improve HR service delivery</p><p>• Define an end-to-end roadmap and governance model enabling the transition of work into the shared services team.
