Founded in 2015, Harmony Extracts provides end-to-end extraction services for licensed growers and is a leader in the cannabis space. We are looking for an exceptional Human Resources Manager with a strong background in employee relations and operational processes to ensure employees in our multi-state company have an amazing employee experience. Our HR manager must be an organized guru, who has great attention to detail and can thrive in a dynamic, growing environment within a fairly young industry.

In this role you will partner with Executive Leadership as well as Division and Regional Managers to develop and drive key HR programs, policies and processes.

The HR Manager will perform specific tasks related to HR operations and is responsible for the workflow, communication, departmental records, statistics and resources for the enterprise. The HR Manager may also be assigned to special projects or reports and is expected to demonstrate individual initiative, exercise good judgment, discretion and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively. This position is based in Denver, Colorado.

Description:

  • Serve as the primary POC for all internal/external HR inquiries.
  • Process multi-state payroll and benefits.
  • Stay current and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate between all divisions to ensure proper information flow and maintain accurate and up to date employee data across multiple databases.
  • Provide coaching and direction regarding hiring, onboarding, development, performance management, change management, succession planning, employee relations and retention.
  • Partner with managers to recruit and select qualified candidates to fill open positions on teams.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate onboarding tools and information to new hires and managers.
  • Coordinate and execute the communication and the components of performance management, succession planning, employee development and performance reviews.
  • Coach leaders and managers on processes and conversations to address and resolve employee relations issues and consult with legal partners when necessary.
  • Conduct exit interviews, share feedback with leaders, and follow the appropriate termination process as dictated by the situation.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects and support other projects and company initiatives
  • Collaborate with assistant who collects, calculates, and enters payroll data.
  • Conflict resolution for staff of 55 and growing.
  • Determine payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer's social security, unemployment, and workers’ compensation payments.
  • Assist in the processing payroll bi-weekly and manage the bonus process.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years HRIS Experience
  • In-depth knowledge of HR operations and analytics

Qualifications:
