What we’ll expect from you:

  • Develop and manage a team of kitchen staff necessary to achieve production goals
  • Focus on repeatable process and continuous process improvement
  • Develop, Implement, and maintain effective internal controls to ensure production plans maintain inventory par levels as determined by sales demand
  • Keep accurate records of facility maintenance, test results, and inventory
  • Work with testing facilities to ensure accurate infusion of cannabis
  • Expertise with Metrc
  • Demonstrated knowledge of production equipment, production, recipe development, shelf-stable products, cannabis infusion techniques, quality control, and other requisite technical knowledge
  • Remain current with industry trends, safety & requirements
  • Thrive at a fast pace, with accurate prioritization, and strong communication skills
  • Improve existing recipes and formulas for marijuana infused products
  • Develop new infused products for our existing product lines

Requirements

  • Experience infusing foods and other products with cannabis extractions required
  • 5+ years’ commercial food production experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in a licensed medical and/or recreational cannabis product manufacturing facility
  • 2+ years’ management experience within a commercial kitchen or food production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate all types of commercial kitchen equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

This role directly reports to the VP of Massachusetts.</p><p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES </b></p><p><b>Customer Service</b></p><ul><li>Maintain a polite, helpful, and professional manner at all times for yourself and your team</li></ul><p><b>Act as a liaison between the customer service department and other divisions in the company</b></p><ul><li>Provide retail customer service via email, face to face interaction, telephone and live chat</li><li>Provide strong solution-oriented resolutions to customer questions and complaints</li><li>Track proposed resolutions and follows up with customers in a timely fashion</li></ul><p><b>Impact Sira retail customer retention and acquisition by problem-solving and converting seemingly dissatisfied customers into frequent/consistent customers.</b></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain vast knowledge of the products and services being offered.</li><li>Provide product/service details and suggestions to customers to empower them make buying decisions.</li><li>Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution.</li><li>Recruit and on board a strong Customer Care team of Customer Care Specialists who will support the day-to-day operations of SNI.</li><li>Mentor and engage the Customer Care Specialists with on-going development and support of day-to-day inquiries, providing feedback, and ensuring a path to grow is in place.</li><li>Train and develop the team on ways to effectively de-escalate common customer care objections.</li><li>Communicate customer feedback to various teams—including technical, production, and marketing departments in order to improve the overall customer experience.</li><li>Establishes performance metrics for customer service representatives.</li></ul><p><b>Digital Engagement</b></p><ul><li>Manage all digital customer service elements for Sira, which includes; responding to patient, vendor, and partner inquiries in a timely manner every day.</li><li>Listen to social media audience by engaging in conversations, which drive brand identity through product knowledge and branded communication.</li><li>Manage site listings by establishing a digital presence.</li><li>Ensure maintenance of brand guidelines and accurate public information.</li><li>Monitor cannabis review websites by responding to patient comments, finding solutions and prioritizing customer retention through engagement.</li><li>Analyze relevant data to determine customer service outputs</li></ul><p><b>Adult Use Expansion and Operations</b></p><ul><li>Assist our Retail Marketing team in evaluating new media technologies to further our message and brand awareness.</li><li>Answer all customer questions regarding Sira adult-use retail and play a role in establishing the customer care program for adult-use retail.</li><li>Liaise with company management to support and implement growth strategies</li></ul><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS: </b></p><ul><li>Proven working experience as a Customer Care Manager or Retail Manager/equivalent</li><li>Minimum of 5 years experience in customer service and/or call center with demonstrated success</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques</li><li>Strong working knowledge of customer service software, databases, and tools</li><li>Strong phone and social media etiquette as well as client-facing communication skills</li><li>Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills</li><li>Must be 21 years of age or older as required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.</li><li>Able to pass all background checks as mandated by Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.</li></ul><p><b>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE</b></p><ul><li>Prior Massachusetts Cannabis Customer Service experience preferred</li><li>Firm understanding of social media platforms</li><li>Familiarity with Massachusetts adult-use and medical regulations: 935 CMR 500, 501 and 502.00</li></ul><p><b>WORKING CONDITIONS </b></p><ul><li>The person in this position may be exposed to dust, kief, cleaning chemicals and fumes. Although systems are in place to remove these byproducts, there is still exposure to some degree.</li><li>Must be able to work flexible days/times as needed as well as some weekends and holidays.</li></ul><p><b>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS </b></p><ul><li>Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position in an office setting.</li><li>The person in this position frequently communicates with staff, visitors, and vendors.
