The Facilities Supervisor provides support to the facilities operation during the initial set up phase and ongoing operation thereafter. S/he provides guidance to ensure the Facilities operation is operating best in class.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Responsible for all aspects of Job Plan Development for both planned and scoped work.
  • Initiate the procurement of parts, special tools, and rental equipment required in the job plans.
  • Modify spare part stock levels as required.
  • Develop and maintain an annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) calendar.
  • Deploy maintenance procedures developed.
  • Participate in weekly scheduling activities.
  • Receive all work requests, enter into CMMS with planning information plus generate PM work orders.
  • Track equipment repair history, costs and repetitive repairs using CMMS and other data sources to develop/implement proactive repair planning.
  • Close work orders and complete follow up.
  • Support Facilities Manager as required to deal with unplanned failures with respect to parts identification and specification for repair.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and development of new or modified maintenance routines.
  • Maintain master equipment files, both hard copy and electronic.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary atmosphere with a high regard for environmental impact of the operation.
  • Performs specific carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, masonry, and appliance repairs and coordinates activities of employees and outside contractors.
  • Supervises and approves all work performed at the site by staff and outside contractors
  • Responsible for maintaining and repairing the physical structures of buildings and grounds.
  • Responsible for correcting any known life-safety hazard
  • Obtain bids for work from outside contractors.
  • Acknowledges receipt of all goods and materials delivered to the property for maintenance and
  • Assists the Facility Manager in planning and administering the maintenance budget.
  • Participates in after hours and emergency response.
  • Establishes and documents a preventative maintenance program.
  • Creates and maintains a positive environment for staff and promotes positive work environment.
  • Any other duties as assigned


EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • Must be 21 Years of age or older
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License or Government issued photo ID
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical school graduate or equivalent of building operations experience

Preferred

  • 3+ years of progressively responsible work-related experience and any combination of education and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement.
  • Cannabis Industry experience preferred
  • Ability to focus and be task oriented
  • Ability to work as a collaborative team member
  • Ability to keep organized and have extreme attention to detail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with other employees/customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% - 50% of the time, within Massachusetts
  • Must be able to move around the production facilities up to 30% of the time
  • Must be able to work in an environment which is noisy and with temperature fluctuations from 60 degrees to 90 degrees
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
