Our client, a leader in Cannabis Distribution throughout California, is seeking an experienced a Senior Sales Leader to join their team. This Leader will play an important role helping to build operations aspects relative to multi-state expansion.

The Sales Leader will report to the Head of Multi-State Expansion and will lead all sales channels outside of California. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of leading a national sales team to drive growth.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding customer base as they expand to other states.
  • Travel required for in-person meetings with customers and sales team to develop key relationships.
  • Oversee teams and processes to ensure desired results are consistent with overall strategy and mission.
  • Design, implement and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes to establish high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency.
  • Develop new customer relationships while consistently maximizing existing clients
  • Provide exceptional leadership to high performing sales and retail marketing teams nationwide
  • Analyze competitors and conduct market research
  • Create detailed revenue forecasts and manage sales budgets
  • Develop, implement, and manage goals, objectives, and KPIs
  • Collaborate with multi-state partners, sales and marketing teams
  • Assist in problem solving and customer service issues
  • Meet and exceed companys revenue goals
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven track record of developing a successful national sales team and exceeding company goals
  • 7 10 years of sales management experience (at least 2 years in the cannabis industry)
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a strong executive presence.
  • A strong motivator and leader and ability to create a team that lives the companys values.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Superb negotiation expertise
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to do what it takes to be a significant contributor to a fast-moving team
  • Bachelors Degree
