DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

• Responsible for executing assigned tasks, projects, and expectations of the cultivation department in accordance with our mission, vision, goals, and objectives.

• Attending to a large scale cultivation facility.

• Working to maintain the health of plants by feeding and pruning throughout the growth cycle.

• Working collectively and respectfully with other cultivation team members.

• Maintain accurate documentations of executed tasks.

• Maintain a level of cleanliness and organization.

• Ensure no product leaves the facility without going through proper channels.

• Follow all safety regulations set by supervisors.

• Ensure consistent quality.

• Ensure an overall positive, safe and clean environment.

• Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS *

REQUIRED

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to manage high stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.

• Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

• Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day

• General tool, hardware, ladder, and building skills. Must be able to use a 12' extension ladder.

• Working safely in a warehouse setting.

• Self-motivated.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations.

• Ability to communicate through various formats including email and phone.

• At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.

• Proper employment documentation.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

• If necessary, ability to work 7 days per week and to be flexible with schedule.

• Environmental requirements and exposure:Exposure to fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables

DESIRABLE

• Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture.

• Previous manufacturing/ laborer experience.

EDUCATION *

• Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent required.

• Degree in horticulture, agriculture, or plant science field is desirable.

Our LivRelief and Delivra brands have both cannabis infused, and non infused products that offer unique approaches to pain relief and for improving quality of sleep, offering an alternative to mainstream medications.</p><p>As the Accounting Coordinator you will handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions and will assist with finance and accounting analysis and month end duties.</p><p>What are the rewards of the Job?</p><p><b>The Accounting Coordinator role rewards people:</b></p><p>• Who like an entrepreneurial/fast paced environment</p><p>• Who enjoy working remotely</p><p>• Who are very detailed-oriented</p><p>• Who can work equally effectively independently and, in a team,</p><p>• Who have exceptional customer service skills</p><p>• Who are extremely results-oriented</p><p>• Have an interest in the fast-growing cannabis industry</p><p>What does the “Day to Day” Look Like?</p><p>• Performing day to day financial transactions for all of Harvest One’s Canadian and US subsidiaries;</p><p>• Generating external and internal invoices and billings;</p><p>• Processing incoming invoices into the Company’s accounting software;</p><p>• Preparing bank deposits, EFTs and payment remittances;</p><p>• Reconciling the accounts receivable and payable to the general ledger;</p><p>• Resolving inquiries from vendors and key suppliers;</p><p>• Following up on payments of invoices due;</p><p>• Generating reports detailing accounts payable/receivable status;</p><p>• Assisting with month end closing;</p><p>• Providing supporting documentation for year-end audits.</p><p>What experience do I need?</p><p>• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role</p><p>• Accounting experience in a consumer packaged goods/distribution environment would be an asset</p><p>• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be preferred</p><p>What are the “must haves”?</p><p>• Must be able to work from a home office – we work predominately remotely. We will supply the computer and other equipment necessary to perform the work</p><p>• Must be in the Greater Toronto Area as there will be occaisional meetings with the CFO</p><p>• Are fluent in business level of English</p><p>• Post-Secondary diploma or degree in accounting/commerce/management or equivalent work experience</p><p>• What competencies should I have?</p><p>• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable, fair credit practices and collections regulations</p><p>• Outstanding customer service skills and orientation</p><p>• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written</p><p>• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail</p><p>• Extremely computer literate with ERP accounting software, MS Word, Excel and Outlook</p><p>• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities</p><p>Diversity and inclusion are central elements of the shared culture within Harvest One.
