The Senior Manager of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Operations will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Integrated Pest Management including application planning, beneficial insect use and release, plant health, training, auditing of licenses and application, vetting new products, and ensuring that locations have proper PPE and supplies. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader ensuring adherence to production schedules and goals developed in accordance with Enterprise support. A successful candidate will have experience leading an IPM team with +20 employees with a strong emphasis on Quality and accuracy.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Oversee an IPM Leadership team of 3-6 Leads across 3 locations.
  • Maintain detailed application schedules for chemicals and beneficial insects
  • Maintain proper chemical and PPE stock
  • Ensure leads and applicators are fully licensed and up to date on credits to maintain the license
  • Ensure data is logged correctly in all compliance and company systems including pesticide logbooks and SDS binders.
  • Maintain and enforce a culture of compliance for all cultivation activities with strict adherence to the Florida Statues for Medical Marijuana Grow/Process, as well as regulations set forth by local, state and federal agencies such as OSHA.
  • Work with the Parallel Enterprise Grow Team on application schedules and vetting new products.
  • Responsible for accurate projections of pest and pathogen pressure impacts on yields and production levels
  • Assist the Senior Manager of Cultivation Operations for critical indoor grow issues.
  • Assist in new property startup – labor and compliance training. Some travel will be required.


EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING


Required

  • Age 21 or over
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Minimum 2 yrs. experience in managing commercial cannabis IPM programs.
  • Florida pesticide Applicator License
  • Greenhouse control system experience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office computer skills and ability to adapt to other software programs


Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture/Agriculture Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or Entomology
  • Knowledge and experience with large scale commercial plant cultivation including nutrient requirements, media, lighting, environmental control, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience with proper chemical use and planning.
  • Proven leadership in commercial indoor growing environment. Success in implementing highly efficient processes.
  • Working knowledge of advanced indoor grow systems: computerized controls, irrigation, hydroponic growing systems.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness.
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, and consistent attention to detail for 10 hours per day.
  • Must be able to bend, lift and stoop continuously.
  • Ability to life 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 80 lbs. assisted

The Dispensary Manager is the critical link between the retail fields and the Central Management Team.</p><p>Duties/Responsibilities/Tasks</p><p>• Communicate the Dispensary's sales information to management.</p><p>• Create a monthly work schedule; revise and update the facility's shift schedules as needed, based on known absences and unique needs to ensure full coverage of operations by Dispensary staff.</p><p>• Conduct and oversee the training of all new employees as well as the retraining of existing employees as needed.</p><p>• Motivate and work together with employees to meet and exceed sales goals.</p><p>• Administer and document employee evaluations.</p><p>• Inform employees of new updates and general developments in the company.</p><p>• Review and approve dispensary payroll, including authorizing changes in shift hours and verifying accuracy of time cards.</p><p>• Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with HR; interviewing applicants based on a consistent set of criteria.</p><p>• Ensure that inventory is adequate and manage inventory properly through timely entries in the Dispensary's ICS.</p><p>• Ensure all client and agent information and sales/purchase information is timely and accurately entered into the VS system developed by the Department, which is cross-checked to entries in the ICS to assure product movement accuracy. All such information is to be maintained confidentially following Department regulations and policies and procedures.</p><p>• Promotes a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established company policies and procedures.</p><p>• Monitor the activities of store employees to maximize efficiency, minimize errors.</p><p>• Respond to all patient complaints, requests, concerns, or suggestions and take action when necessary to resolve conflicts.</p><p>• Provide superior customer service for patients, caregivers, and vendors.</p><p>• Oversee orders and deliveries to ensure accurate order information and timeliness of deliveries.</p><p>• Serves as a knowledgeable resource for Dispensary staff concerning product characteristics and efficacy, facility and Company policies and procedures, existing laws and regulations, changes in regulations, and industry news.</p><p>• Delegates tasks to facility employees to maintain a compliant and clean Dispensary facility.</p><p>• Coordinates with Central Management Team to ensure accurate information is communicated to the staff and that suggestions for facility/process improvements are considered for implementation.</p><p>• Other responsibilities and duties assigned by the Manager of Retail Operations.</p><p>Job Requirements</p><p>• At least 3-5 years of retail management experience required.</p><p>• Thorough understanding of state and local medical Cannabis laws and regulations, and how they apply to the operations of the Company is preferred.</p><p>• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment while demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills is required.</p><p>• Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and time management abilities.</p><p>• Proficiency in Windows-based and other software and Internet navigation.</p><p><b>Additional Requirements:</b></p><p>• Must be at least 21 years of age.</p><p>• Must successfully complete a level II background check.</p><p><b>Physical and Mental Demands:</b></p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls.
