We give people consistent experiences they can count on, and we give those experiences two times faster. We pride ourselves on great products, great people, and great science. We are singularly focused on quality, which to us means doing things the right way, right from the start. We know that success isn’t found in shortcuts or silver bullets. We put in the work, and damn right we’re proud of it. This is a wild, wild industry, and we love working in it, but only with those who want to do things right.

About the job

Ripple is a 100% vaccinated company. All employees must either be fully vaccinated or in the process of becoming fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager for the eastern portion of our Denver region.

At Ripple, we believe sales is a contact sport. Our Territory Sales Managers work around the clock to build meaningful partnerships with their accounts. For us, landing an account is just the beginning. Our mission is to be every account’s favorite partner. Our accounts know us for having innovative products backed by the best research, training, service, and support. There’s no “couch selling” here. Our promise is to know as much (or more) about our partners’ businesses as they do.

Your role is to build warm, supportive relationships, not just with purchasing managers, but with everyone you can. Budtenders mean everything to us, and we want salespeople who feel the same. If you are endlessly fascinated by this industry and are all-in on spending time with the people inside it, then this may well be the role for you.

We can tell you everything about an account, but only you can turn that information into a productive partnership. Our sales philosophy is simple: we’ll set you up for success in every way possible, but you’ve gotta put in the work. So, if you want to sell products that fulfill their promises, if you want to work with (mostly) sane professionals who try hard to do it right, if you can’t help but put in the work required to win because that’s just how you’re wired — well, then we would love to speak with you.

What you’ll be responsible for:

Spending a minimum of 4 days per week visiting and nurturing your accounts.

Executing 2-4 pop-ups a month. Pop-ups represent unfettered access to accounts. If you can’t get excited by the opportunity to spend four uninterrupted hours with an account, then you’re missing the gene we want.

Maintaining detailed CRM records for customers and leads. Data is our lifeblood. Without it, we’re lost. If you can’t get excited by the best data in the industry, then you’re missing the gene we want.

Activating and managing promotions and sales incentives to drive product adoption and velocity

Conducting diligent pre-call planning, route management, as well as tenacious follow-ups. “No” is just an opportunity to take another approach.

Working with management to understand the competitive landscape and market trends and then putting a proactive plan together to win

Representing the Ripple brand and effectively communicating our value propositions and technical differentiators.

Following our defined sales process and contributing to process evolutions and improvements

Negotiating pricing and terms that benefit both us and our dispensary partners.

What we’ll love about you:

You love the challenge of growing a business and are relentless in pursuit of your territory sales budget.

You’re a road warrior who enjoys personal engagement and interaction with all retail staff including security guards, budtenders, and buyers.

You treat your accounts as partnerships and understand your partners’ businesses are as important as our own.

You’re organized and proactive. You love using tools and systems that make you more effective and efficient in your work.

You consider yourself highly accountable. You take responsibility for your actions, close the loop, and freely admit error.

You think of selling as a team sport. Yes, each member needs to pull their weight but, you recognize and believe that we can do more together than as individuals.

You’re a natural extrovert who loves spending time with people of all stripes. You love the challenge of initiating and building healthy sales relationships.

You have an understanding of and passion for the THC/recreational edibles market.

What you’ll love about us:

We are a team of competent, motivated, diverse, and decent adults.

We are a workplace of adults who value reasoned debate over political maneuvering.
