Territory Account Manager

We have an immediate need for a tech savvy Territory Account Manager with Cannabis experience (strongly preferred) to join our USA field sales team. As a Territory Sales leader, you represent the face of Agnetix. Sales is fundamental to spreading awareness, driving growth, and capitalizing on opportunity. The Territory Account Manager is a self-starter well adept at partnering internally with cross-functional teams to ensure our customers realize their horticultural lighting projects as well as our goals.

Your focus will be to develop new business with potential clients and partners within your defined geography. You will concurrently build and maintain a network of connectors and complementary partners that can strengthen our chances of realizing a sale. Both sole source indoor chambers and supplemental light greenhouses will be target facilities, including both Cannabis and food cultivators.

Responsibilities

Independently manage the full sales cycle; from initial prospecting to signed contracts, through to delivery and commissioning of the Agnetix platform and remain in position for ongoing account management and support as needed post deploymentLearn, understand, and be able to competently explain the Agnetix platformProvide timely and accurate updates on all activities through the Company's CRM systems, including up to date sales forecastingDemonstrate the Agnetix lighting solution one -on -one to potential clients, and at local industry events, including presenting and supporting local networking events, and groupsUtilize proactive prospecting strategies to identify and track new sales opportunities including inbound lead follow -up, networking to reach known targets, and outbound cold calls and emailsConduct extensive "pre -qual" client research to understand potential clients' goals, objectives and challengesBecome an expert at leveraging the company's sales tools to create powerful and professional proposals aligning the customer's vision with our platform - including hardware, software and technical services based on each customer's unique requirementsDrive total customer satisfaction by partnering with management and customer service to deliver and improve on the total solution. The successful applicant will use self-motivation and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with current and prospective customers within the Canadian legal cannabis industry.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><p>• Spend majority of time on the road promoting the retail sale of cannabis products: present, promote and sell MediPharm Labs’ portfolio of brands</p><p>• Provide product education to retailers</p><p>• Establish, develop and maintain strong customer relationships with retailers across assigned territory</p><p>• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and consistently pre-plan visits for selling opportunities</p><p>• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes on schedule</p><p>• Keep up to date on industry related trends, practices, and events</p><p>• Support the development of any sales materials</p><p>• Create brand awareness and community engagement within given territory</p><p>• Establish new opportunities to promote MediPharm Labs portfolio of brands within the confined regulations</p><p>• Analyze the territory’s potential, track activity, and submit results reports on a regular basis to management</p><p>• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, develop solutions, collaborate with, and make recommendations to management.</p><p>• Collaborate with management in planning sales activities and setting goals for assigned territory</p><p>Skills/Qualifications Needed</p><p>• Proven work experience (2-4 years) in sales, preferably within the cannabis, beverage alcohol, or tobacco</p><p>• Excellent interpersonal skills with emphasis on selling, communication and negotiation;</p><p>• Highly motivated, result-driven with excellent self-management and organizational skills;</p><p>• Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</p><p>• Knowledge of regulations as it pertains to selling cannabis in British Columbia</p><p>• Valid Driver’s Licence and vehicle is a must; travelling required.</p><p>• Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent preferred</p><p><b>At MediPharm Labs we offer comprehensive health and dental benefits, 3 weeks’ vacation and the following opportunities:</b></p><p>• Be part of the foundation of a new, growing industry and make your mark</p><p>• Autonomy and key decision-making opportunities</p><p>• Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunity for growth both personally and professionally</p><p>MediPharm Labs is committed to providing accommodation for applicants with disabilities in its recruitment processes.
